Like many others have just discovered I have been paying £8.99 a month for a membership I didn't take out.I bought one eyeshadow in December 2023.When I saw Luxplus on my statement I thought maybe it was somewhere I had bought a snack.Devious & dreadful company.I didn't even receive an email to tell me I had (somehow) taken out membership.I have no contract with them & expect a refund from them.You should sign up for a membership & receive confirmation that you have.
I bought something from this website and after a month they changed me for 8.99 pounds for membership fee. There was nothing clear about membership fees in registration form or emails. It’s not fair and is not good way to make money from people’s pockets.
THERE ARE NO MESSAGES FROM YOUR COMPANY IN MY SPAM FOLDER. PLEASE E-MAIL ME A COPY OF YOUR PURPORTED E-MAIL DETAILING THE COSTS ETC. OF YOUR MEMBERSHIP.THERE IS NO MENTION OF A MONTHLY FEE ON THE ORDER CONFIRMATIONS. THE ORDER ITSELF IS 100% CLEAR, BUT THE MEMBERSHIP IS NOT. THIS IS CLEARLY POINTED OUT IN THE MANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS.Once again, this company is not clear about the membership payments in its reply. They are NOT clearly shown on the order.In addition, the process to cancel a membership on their www is more than clunky and reminiscent of certain airlines' practices.This is inertia selling at its worst.I recommend avoiding this company and I will be sending gthe details to Trading Standards.

I don't usually write reviews but after reading them on here I thought I should. I have just made a purchase of £170 on this site , if I wasn't a member it would have cost nearly £500!!!! People on here complaining cuz they can't read the fine print... When you do your first purchase the website gives you an option to get the product at a discounted members only price and that's an option you as a buyer choose. It then says again when you go to purchase the items that it is a membership only price and you will be charged after 7 days a monthly fee of £8.99 (I think lol). They then send 3 emails over the following week with a discount code , and the others about the benefits of being a luxplus MEMBER. It is not a scam when the discounts and products are real and they have stated so many times about being a member. This is completely down to the costumer to not select the membership discount price or to cancel the membership within the week after making the purchase. I'm very happy with the site , as a member I get brilliant discounts which are even less then with my Sally's discount card and cheaper then lookfantastic! I'll admit £8.99 is a lot but if you're regularly buying a lot it works out in the end :)
Terrible company for SCAMMING people!!!No one wants to buy one or two items and become a member and pay £8.99 a month!They don’t make it clear that you going to become a member !!And then they say you’re not going to get your money back after they’ve taken £8.99 a month Another company laughing and making a living scamming people!!
