😡 SCAM SCAM SCAM Be aware that if you don't want to order a lot from them and very often, you'd better avoid buying anything. I wish I could give a minus 5 stars! I just ever ordered one item and I wasn’t even aware of the membership. I'm always very careful when ordering to avoid that kind of dishonesty but this time I was tricked. Never again! And again the same copied answer as usual, not personal at all. It's pathetic and a scandal. The customer isn't respected at all at luxplus.
Scammers. I bought some cream for my son and apparently I subscribed which I had no idea. They been taking money out of my account since March and I've noticed today. They have sent me no other products so what have I payed for. Can't get my money back. Please do not buy from here but if you do be careful you don't subscribe as you won't get anything. Wish I'd noticed sooner they were taking money. Robbers
In line with the majority of the consumers below, my experience of this company is that they have used manipulation and concealment to deduct regular payments from me. In my case, over £70 during the course of the last 8 months, for absolutely nothing. This happens when you make a purchase and sign up to membership/subscription, (which whilst they do put in some form of writing, they do not make very explicit). They then rely on you forgetting/missing the small print about cancellation, and make every effort to burry terms and conditions and hide the payments they take from you from then onwards.Here are the methods they used:• The burial of terms and conditions upon agreeing to subscription in an email entitled ‘order confirmation’ (the purchase receipt of the original product purchased), rather than anything that is clearly distinguishable as such • The absence of any reminder of the end of the trial period• The absence of any invoices and payments taken in email communications • The absence of any other communications discussing membership or offering the chance to cancel (throughout the 8 months I have been unknowingly subscribed) • The use of continuous payment authority (CPA), rather than direct debit to deduct payments, which means there are fewer consumer rights and controls around payments, and less chance that subscribers will see these payments coming out of their accountFor the reasons above, i only realised i was subscribed upon happening to check my transactions in my online banking today, when they payment appeared. When i wrote to them explaining that i felt manipulated and to please refund my money as a gesture of goodwill, they refused. I was then very shocked to see how many other people have had the exact same experience. I imagine they will reply stating that they do spell out the terms and conditions in their original email. However, as per all the items listed above, this simply isnt good enough and i feel genuinely sad that this is how some businesses now rely on making money. It really needs clamping down on by the government. I am taking this up with trading standards in the interest of fairness and transparency.
Despite cancelling on their website, they continue to take membership illegally. Stay clear, this lot are not worth the agro.BTW you will see in their response, the exact same (preformatted) reply that everyone gets with a similar complaint. - Useless and bordering on arrogant.
DONT NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! I bought some skin care which I never got due to something about their website not recognising my address. I had to them ask for a refund. They tired to offer me store credit (the cheek). I purposely paid the non-members price as I don’t see the point of paying £9 for a service u probably will use once every 6 months and they still tried to charge me a members fee this month. Listen to the reviews do not waste ur time and money, this company is a SCAM which runs on u ordering once and trying to charge u every month without noticing irregardless of u signing up or not.
