When I contacted customer service, they explained that the discrepancy was due to their system operating in euros and currency exchange fluctuations.
However, the situation became more concerning when I was charged an additional amount the day after my purchase, without any explanation. I’ve reached out to customer service about this as well, but their response time has been very slow. Overall, this has been a frustrating experience, and I would advise others to be cautious.

Booked a ticket

Booked a ticket, made a one letter typo in my name and they were powerless to do anything about it. I paid 343.99 GBP offered a refund for 235 EUR. Figured the site was sketchy, but since it came through Google Flights I'd give it a go. I fully regret this decision. If they can fix the situation I'm happy to bump this back up to five starts.

1⭐ SCAM - Misleading pricing and pressure to pay more Martigo…

I booked a flight through Martigo because the price looked cheaper than other sites. About 20 minutes after completing the booking, I received an email saying I needed to pay additional money before they would issue the ticket. This was never mentioned anywhere during the booking process.After researching online, I found many other reviews describing the exact same situation — customers book a flight at the advertised price and are then contacted afterward and asked to pay more.This kind of practice is extremely misleading. A price should not be advertised if the company is going to demand more money after the booking is already completed.I cancelled the booking immediately before any ticket was issued, and thankfully the cancellation was completed. Based on this experience and the number of similar complaints online, I would strongly recommend that people be very cautious before booking with Martigo.

Cheaper prices and easy to book the flights.When we requested support and assistance from them, because of air traffic issues in Arabian Golf generated by the new Israel/US-Iran conflict, they were supportive and friendly. ⭐☆☆☆☆ - TOTAL SCAM – DO NOT USEI cannot warn people strongly enough: stay far away from Martigo.com. What we experienced was nothing short of a bait-and-switch scam.We selected 2 tickets advertised at $888. Seemed reasonable, so we proceeded to payment. Once the transaction went through, we were charged $2,380.30 – nearly THREE TIMES the advertised price. Absolutely outrageous.We immediately called to cancel and request a refund, as the tickets were listed as "refundable." What happened next? They hit us with a €50 cancellation fee. On a booking we tried to cancel within minutes, because THEY misrepresented the price.This company deliberately advertises low prices to lure customers in, then charges dramatically more once they have your payment details. The "refundable" label is meaningless – they'll find a way to keep your money regardless.This is predatory, deceptive, and frankly disgraceful. We will be disputing the charge with our bank and reporting this to consumer protection authorities. I only wish I had read reviews before booking.AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
