special 'thanks' to Microsoft Australia

special thanks to Microsoft Australia - for the last few months I have been trying to contact tech support. This is virtually impossible. It just hangs up on you on the main support line. The chat option is silent since 19 Nov, they came back to me and said they are happy to help haha, today is 13th of December. Sydney office number claims it's not Microsoft. Online q&a is not helpful as it doesn't answer my questions and tells me to use options that don't exist. Complaint department is non-responsive. Finally managed to reach tech team and got asked by the MICROSOFT TECH SUPPORT WHAT IS A LINK. When I explained and AFTER I SPELT 'MICROSOFT FAMILY LINK' to her, she asked me if it was a Microsoft product. I asked her doesn't she know Microsoft products if she works in Tech support? She asked me again what was the family link. I admit I muttered 'idiot' under my breath after which she hung up on me. Called sales team, they picked up really fast, but refused to connect me to Australian Head Office. I think Bill Gates will be in shock if he finds out his Australian office and support lines are full of incompetent idiots, who are UNABLE AND INCAPABLE AND NOT WILLING TO HELP.

Microsoft has become a s**t show

Microsoft has become a s**t show, it amazes me how something so good can turn into something so crap, and I am talking about the whole setup, windows, emails, office *especially* its like each time they make an update its worse and laggy. Almost makes you think of creating custom solutions at this point.

Same thing happened to me

Same thing happened to me. My PC was on windows 10 but it's changed to windows 11 without my permission. This is not fare. I didn't like the user interface of windows 11

Horrible organisation

Horrible organisation that needs to go bankrupt. Purchased Ark for $45, realised it had no anti-cheat and is riddled with cheaters. My friends also play the Steam version. Requested a refund and it was denied with no explanation. I never request refunds. I have multiple Microsoft subscriptions which have all been cancelled. Find an alternative and boycott these morons.

I know, Microsoft, you don’t care about your users

I know, Microsoft, you don’t care about your users—it’s your choice. But I just wanted to say, I can make any mistake in the world of the internet, but I will never make the mistake of installing Windows 10 or 11. These are the worst operating systems currently existing on this planet. Apple is bad too when it comes to privacy and spying, but at least they do it in a way that doesn’t affect the user experience. They steal all your data without draining your PC's resources or power.But you? You’re different. You literally sit inside the computer, taking 50+% of the resources and leaving user with only 50%, 40%, or sometimes even 30% of the RAM to do its stuff—while you comfortably carry out your privacy-invading activities. Yeah, why not? Even though I have a powerful computer, I will never let you take over my system.

Took me two years to be allowed back…

Took me two years to be allowed back into my email account when my father was able to login just fine. I’d given them all of my information to prove it was me (Skype, Xbox, all connected accounts) and still NO WHERE. Then when I finally made progress and got a phone number to call the bot WOULDNT listen to my voice and I had to get a male family member just so it would “understand”. Now suffering the same issues with having it connected to a games account and I cannot recommend avoiding Microsoft at all costs, enough. The most pointless, unhelpful form of support with the worst kind of info loopholes that lead you nowhere.
