This company will mess with your setting when you update at all. They will change your browser, steal your bookmarks. Pretend its chrome and make it neigh on impossible to stop. Itll boot edge everytime you restart and steal the bookmarks too. Absolute crap

Annoying and questionable business practices

What went wrong, well, where do I start...- Constantly trying to shove Edge and Bing down my throat as default browser and search engine- OneDrive makes working offline impossible- MSN is basically a trashy tabloid news channel, again shoved in your face with Edge - Hotmail now having a constant ad in your faceYou need to "up your game a bit", Microsoft rather than continue with these annoying and questionable business practices. These will not solve your problems long term. Competition will continue to eat away at your business with time.

My PC has been updated to Windows 11…

My PC has been updated to Windows 11 from 10(the best version) without my consent. This is how you know that they pushed this nasty snaky update knowing their product is worthless and no one is using it, so might as well enforce it so their bosses can see it's being used. Disgusting. There are 1000 reasons why I hate Windows 11, it's garbage. Design, layout, everything sucks. It messed up my files, and I have to do extra work now to rearange them. Keep competing with apple, you sell-out morons, because very obviously you lack any originality and the only way to succeed it copy others when you had everything already.

Appalling customer service

Ordered an Xbox which was lost in the post. It takes over an hour to be able to speak to somebody by chat and then nothing is resolved. There is no email available for their complaints department & the phone number cuts you off and refers you to online support. 17 days on and I still have no Xbox and no refund. Christmas is 2 weeks away and I am not at all hopeful. Will have a very disappointed child on Christmas morning!!

New Outook Mail continually having to revert

Sick and tired on the vast number of times I have had to revert OUTLOOK MAIL to the old version. What is so wrong with the staff there have they PEA sized brain. I guess most of them are under 30 and total social media jerks. I am sick to death of having to revert OUTLOOK mail back to what is a far easier program to use than the newest version which is just too much less simple to use and move around. No matter if I feed back 1 billion times that the new version is rubbish and I dont want it I think most people do not want it. They keep forcing me to every damn time I open my computer. I am sick of it.

Absolute garbage of a company

Absolute garbage of a company. Will be switching to Sony for my gaming needs as soon as I have to money too. Game pass ultimate is a joke and your customer service is about the same. A subscription is a contract. You should not be shutting my subscription off and making it unrenewable so I have to buy your garbage ass new one with virtual nothing new, but an 8 dollar price increase. Then your scunty customer service rep sits there trying to tell me that it ended August 8th when I clearly paid for it August 8th and September 8th and haven’t had a problem til October 8th. Ratty sheisty ass company. Will be changing routes after this garbage. If I could give you lower then one star I would.

This was going to be a complaint about the lack of professionalism and care that microsoft support gives to its valued customers, but this is going to turn into a thank you. I am so happy that you don't value my support to your business after I have purchased every console and have had subscriptions with you since my father was paying as I was a young child. I have purchased computers and ext. With your service on it and today is the day that I am finished with you. I hated apple and Sony since I was young but I now know you are the problem and that's why I will be switching to a apple computer and Sony gaming the rest of my life. Thanks microsoft for showing your true colors.

New Outlook is unfit for purpose

New Outlook is unfit for purpose as a POP3 client. Don't even attempt it. I spent yesterday setting it up. Easy to connect. It will probably work better as an IMAP connection, but I need one place to store emails locally, some I need to keep for legal reasons ("the computer ate my emails" is not an excuse HMRC or the Probate Office would accept). Overnight, it lost all my subfolders, and the emails in them. It also lost most of my settings (the only one it kept was the time zone). The ability to save to People direct from emails is broken, it says "Saved", but has put nothing in People. There are no Categories for email, and you can't import old emails. I have ended up downloading Classic Outlook.All the Microsoft boards are full of very angry people complaining about new Outlook, and with good reason. Don't waste your time on it. Microsoft appear to be doing NOTHING to resolve the problems.
