Windows tried forcing me to update. I SHUT IT DOWN BEFORE THEY COULD SO SCREW YOU MICROSOFT

To Microsoft. I'm on Windows 10 with a 6 year old laptop. I don't want any updates. My laptop has never had a virus and I have security which is paid for. I don't want to update. You may have attempted to restart my laptop but I pressed down the standby button to force shut down my update. My laptop is running as great as ever. Stop forcing updates down the throats of your customers! If we want them, we accept them, if not do one. I will shut down every update until my laptop gives up the ghost.

Microsoft destroy my life

I have been using Hotmail my entire life — over 30 years of memories, contacts, and important emails. One day, I woke up and suddenly couldn’t log in. I went through every recovery process, contacted support multiple times, and waited patiently for 6 months… not a single reply.It feels like Microsoft has completely abandoned loyal, long-time users like me. I’m just an “old client” they don’t care about anymore. After decades of trusting Hotmail, I now have no choice but to create a new email — and I can guarantee it will never be a Hotmail account again.It’s heartbreaking to lose access to so many years of my life because Microsoft refuses to provide real support. This is beyond frustrating — it’s disrespectful.

Horrendous customer service

Horrendous customer service. Purchased a console as a gift and it was supposed to be delivered yesterday. When ai was purchasing the shipping dates were clear. However now it shows status pending and is supposedly shipping in a month. Deception and lies. Customer service does not help, they do not connect you to anyone, keep you on hold, take you off hold, have you listening to their side conversations and offer no help. This is unnacceptable treatment of customers and the deception regarding advertised shipping dates….. lawsuit waiting to happen. Very dissapointed.

Its amazing you cant find any bad…

Its amazing you cant find any bad reviews about microsft on the internet.You almost believe you are the only ond who thinks their products are not functional. You go to leave a bad review and the comment gets erase, crashes, glitches out, 2 step verification, then it asked me ti prove i was human, after 20 mijnutes of clicking on fire hydrants and stairs, i gave up, next time i tried, itt pick one 3 numbers on my other device, I have 2 devices to try and combat these companies, we have little chance against the evil they subject us to, they lose massive court cases and refuse to pay outt the six dollare owed to us after thsy destroyed llives costing us thoysands of dollars in destriying products we bought from them. This is how they treat their loyal customers. After reading only a few of the patents from decades ago you understand the crimes being commited against humanity was calculated and these companies will kill us themselves and the planet sooner than later now they have almost total control of us enslsving us. Incognito mode has now been exposed as an extorsion racket.

Absolutely shocking couldn’t care less about their customers! No help at all I provided all information they asked for and it ‘wasn’t enough’ to confirm it was actually me trying to get my old account back which I had lost.

Total incompetence is the description

Total incompetence from this company! I wish we had the option to purchase the tools from a competitor so Microsoft wouldn't be a monopoly! Microsoft Business 365 account expired-carried out a renewal online without being supplied any renewal license key. They practically shut us down for a whole week as we had no Microsoft exchange/outlook, Word, Excel etc etc. Their support/contact options are so difficult that it took about a week to manage to get someone on the phone. And once I managed to do that, calling from Cyprus, (7 times because the lines kept dropping after an hour of total inconclusion from each rep), I was being passed on from one rep to another somewhere in India (as I was told). They didn't even have the decency to keep my phone number so the rep who was handling me could call me back to continue where the conversation was dropped, so you can understand that I repeated the story about 5 or 6 times. I've never seen anything like this!!! Really??? One would think such a Corporation would be more customer oriented/concerned with the product they are selling. I am still on hold for the last hour and a half on my seventh phone call. This is so ridiculous that its actually funny. I managed to get through to the Microsoft 365 Data protection dept. manager, Mr. Praveen Giri (if I am spelling his last name correctly) and the first thing I did was get him to spell his name and have him write down my phone number so he could call me back in case the lines dropped again. Well...he didn't even bother...So there you go ..this is Microsoft for you guys....excellent service and product...don't you think?? You can make your own assumptions from this. Thank you for taking the time to read my review. Hope I have been of some help to someone else who can avoid this in the future...Looking forward to a competitor to 365!!!!

Tried to purchase a game.

Tried to purchase a game through the store when it was discounted. They couldn't process my purchase even though my bank successfully processed the amount. Then they held my money for 7 days until the discount was no longer available. After 2 hours talking with support, they concluded that even though it was their fault, they could do nothing about the discount I missed it on. A 3 TRILLION DOLLAR COMPANY COULDN'T HELP WITH $20 AFTER THEIR OWN ERROR CAUSED THE ISSUE. WORTHLESS. I see why they have 1 star.

microsoft dreadfull e mail system and support

i use to use microsoft 2 stage verification email systembut it malfunctioned by saying it had sent me a verification code to my phone which didnt arrive after waiting 24 hour it still didnt work and now the have blocked my e mail, given that they only use stupid chat bots that havnt been told how to resolve the problem i have taken the step of switching my system to chrome
