Midphase changed their hosting system in mid-2024 which broke several things. This included breaking a key script I used to collect data. This caused a lot of inconvenience and also loss of business. I had to spend a lot of time setting up a survey on another platform. The good news is that once I was able to get the problem escalated to their Level 3 support, Mesut and Daniel got to work to determine the issue and provide a fix. They did a great job. However the KEY PROBLEM is that Midphase offers no telephone support for technical issues. While there is chat room which can offer minimal support, serious support can only be offered by entering a ticket. This takes a good deal of time to enter and can take days to get the correct person to resolve the problem. While this is transpiring, I have to deal with a situation where my web site is not working. I have researched highly rated hosting companies and they all have telephone support. If the current owners of Midphase are serious about hosting, they will need to provide functional phone support when there are technical issues.
4 days without any response from online attempt to communicate with Midphase support. 6 day outage NO email send or receive. This is second major outage this year. First was DNS migration with no customer notification. 7 day outage. So... Create an online email case with support no responses. Can't use the corporate email. First response was 4 days and was told only open one case!!! I opened multiple with different departments desperately trying to get email working. Midphase doesn't answer their calls for sales, billing or support... And sometimes it says phone system is in maintenance! I finally got into cpannel thanks to a support response 4 days in. I found an issue being when Midphase did an in announced email migration again they implemented a 10g limit per mail box.. I've asked for two days for them to take the limits off my email boxes... No response. Midphase is NOT honoring their contracts or commitments. Support is NON-EXISTENT! I took have been with Midphase for 20 years. Always had knowledgeable, courteous support staff that were efficient And timely. This year is seriously lacking.
I would give them 0 Stars if that was available. My website is labeled as "Not Secure" due to these idiots.I paid for my SSL and they never installed it so no one will place orders with us and we have lost hundreds of orders. Our email link does not work and they changed our company from a CPanel to a CStack (without notice or asking permission). This made it impossible to get into our system. Our customers see nothing but error messages when trying to place an order and these have made it impossible to navigate our website. I issued a ticket and was told that they would "review it shortly". Three days later and they have still not responded. Their chat system is a joke as they have nothing but incompetent, useless agents who will end the chat as soon as they are in over their head. If you get Owais M on the chat, you might as well give up as he is as stupid as they come. He has ended our chat twice without solving the problem. He sent me to a vague Google link telling me I had to do the fix, then ended the chat. Customer service? "Nah, we don't do that." They do everything they can to make it impossible to contact them. All their phone lines for sales and billing are out of order and I am in their queue again with a wait time of 172 minutes. This is the eighth time as they keep telling me that "No agents are available at this time". They used to have live phone service but in their greed, they canceled that service. I want them to fix the website and then give me my money back. I can't wait to transfer my account to a company that takes their responsibilities seriously and understands customer service.
Terrible customer support again - SSL certificates not working after migration ; so all websites showing security errors. Tried to contact through live chat and was quoted a 9hr wait time !!!. Even their own internal FAQ and tutorial links are generating SSL errors. Submitted tickets have been taking over 24 hrs to get a response - so we are offline again with no timeline for restoration. I do not plan to renew our hosting with midphase. Looking for alternatives after this** This was eventually resolved after 5.5 hrs. Midphase had to add SSL certificates manually. As of this morning our email server is still not working properly, live chat is still not working properly and your internal support links still generate privacy errors. I have contacted the email address you have given below. This is the 2nd major disruption to your hosting in the space of 2yrs***Update - I tried contacting the email address below to solve the email server issues. They were unable to solve it quickly so moved that to another provider. Asked them who to contact from compensation/refund and they have ignored the request. We will continue to move our domains away from this company. They are incompetent and untrustworthy.
