The last 4 phones I've purchased were Motorola Gs. I bought a Moto G Play yesterday and it's working well. It's not one of the fastest phones but it's better than most of 'under $200' phones. The fastest Moto G is the with the stylus.I totally recommend Motorola phones for the budget conscious people. If you want to be able to customize a phone the way you like, get a Moto G.
I have seen two sets of Motorola reviews both featuring a preponderance of one stars! Here is mine.I recently bought an e13, fine for what I need if for as an an older person not permanently glued to their phone. However, I then found the camera didn't operate and threw up a strange message: 'The app does not have critical permissions needed to run. Please check your permissions settings.' There was a 'Dismiss' option and one or two other odd things to do that all led back to the original message.I then decided to call technical support. After all, it is their phone so they must know what it means, right? Wrong! Have you noticed that these days you cannot get put through to a Technical Support person and that this now seems to be right across the board? A very pleasant young person, whose job it was to act as gatekeeper, then sent me - yes you've guessed it - a link so I could work it all out by myself. I am not a techie type and said this was not helpful. I was also told to try resetting the phone but would have lost stuff I had saved and in any case I had a sneaking suspicion it wouldn't work. I was then told I could send the phone in and be without if for a few days, during which time they would also have wiped if. The bottom line is that I have a Motorola phone and the camera doesn't work. I don't do much with this phone, make and receive calls, texts and so on but I would not be at all surprised, based on this experience and reading the reviews of others, that there would be something else to go wrong. Very disappointed with what used to be a good name.
I unfortunate I bought a Motorola G84.5G Awful phone if you come from a Huawei.First the phone does not allow you to wake the phone up with an app. There also limits to how big images you can send with sms, same goes with video. Of cause you can download an app to help with scaling down the files, but that should not be nesessary should it ? Also when you take a photo the colors are a little bit of. To dark. The settings is a hassle in my opinion. How to take a screen picture, how to take live screen video is also a hassle. There are so many settings you can change, but you do not really know what it will do unless you are a phone geek. My battery is 5000 MAH, which is not doing much.I Still have to charge it before the day is over and I do not play games on my phone or watch a lot of YouTube on it. I called Motorola in my country and was told what repare company I can use for free.Like a new battery. They said they did a scsn and change the main board..Still the battery could not hold a full day with my limited use.I told both companies that nothing has change and that was it. All through i paid 300 dollars or so for the phone I am on my way putting my som card back in my beloved old Huawei.☺️🩷.I change phones I was hack.My Facebook, my messages,. My computer and I had an apple since 1999. Oooommm. No panic.New everything of everything.Cards,emails.therefore a new phone.Unfortunate Huawei listen in on peoples phones they say, but it is a more custom friendly phone.Even iPhone does not wake up a phone I was told.
I own a Motorola edge 50 pro from last 1 year and my experience is worst with this phone i say Motorola is only the worst service provider I am facing camera lag issues from day one of my purchase they are not even fixing it . There software is also sucked so many bugs and lags not a smooth animation and performance once till i use there are not any ai features in this device hey Motorola team if you have any shame please work on these problems specially camera app bugs and lags
They've gone downhill from each model of phone. Phones been ok but in the last month it's draining battery for no reason. Used to be able to rely on it, but now I cannot trust this phone to hold a overnight charge for one day. It sucks and I will never buy Motorola again.
"I purchased a Motorola Edge 20 Pro, trusting the brand’s quality and durability. However, after 10 months, the charging port started failing, and by 15 months, both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth stopped working properly.I contacted Motorola customer support, expecting assistance, but their solution was disappointing. They charge for shipping and repair, treating this as if it were a random issue, rather than acknowledging it as a manufacturing defect—a problem that many users worldwide have reported. In other countries, like the United States, Motorola replaces defective devices. Here, I was offered a trade-in option with an unfairly low value, which doesn’t compensate for the faulty product or my investment.Motorola needs to acknowledge this recurring issue with the Edge 20 Pro and provide proper solutions to customers. I strongly recommend considering other brands if you value product quality and after-sales support."
