Restore your abdominal wall integrity

I have an hernia and most of the exercise I have been doing have made things worse. The MUTU system has helped me greatly to know what to do and what not to do. I am already seeing results with the exercise and posture changes. There is a platform where all your questions are answered so you are never on your own.

Great program!

This has been a great program! I had diastasis recti after my first pregnancy. So far it's going great! My doctor said I have a slight gap right now. Over 6 months after my last pregnancy I still had a 2 finger gap. It's great to have progressive modules. I like the structure. I feel like I rushed through more gentle work outs and I like the gradual increase in intensity.

Really enjoying it so far

Really enjoying it so far. It will take me more than the advertised 12 weeks to complete but my DRA was quite large when I started the programme. The weeks change enough to keep it interesting but stay similar enough that you don’t get totally lost - I’m recommending this to all my PP friends

You wont regret getting this!!!

I can’t recommend this program enough! I spent ages searching for the best postnatal program and wish I had found this one sooner! It is extremely comprehensive, I truly feel I have learnt so much in just a few weeks about my whole body and feel 100 times better about myself too 😊 MUTU mumas uses a holistic approach so you are not only healing your diasitis recti and strengthening your pelvic floor in the correct way, but also getting fit and healthy, and learning about posture etc to be able to make every day long lasting life changes to benefit you. The workouts are really greatly designed (talking as a keen HIIT workout girl) as they are high intensity so get my heart rate up but also are low impact so safe for my DR and ensured my pelvic floor didn’t get any worse whilst recovering. I love the structure of the program as it gives you motivation to tick off each day as you go. I have found so much support, guidance and encouragement on my journey with MUTU mumas. It really is for everyone and I strongly feel it should be accessible for every woman after she has given birth. I am thankful for the changes I have seen so far and looking forward to more!

Fantastic videos but underwhelming support

I have competed all 12 models and feel that my core has gotten stronger. The instructions are clear and frequent enough to make it easier to learn the new behaviour. Overall I would give five starts to the videos.However, it is advertised as having a forum for help with a Mutu employee to help with specific questions. I have asked two questions and gotten pretty generic answers each time. When I asked for clarification I haven't received a response. I understand if you can't provide individual support - if that is the case it would be better to make it a peer support area and not 'offer' individual help.

This has been the perfect postnatal…

This has been the perfect postnatal rehab exercise for me after a very traumatic time, particularly given the impact of Covid and the inability to see professionals or join classes during this time. I have felt nurtured and cared for by mutu not to mention stronger and better. You have choice to fit it in when you can which is perfect for a busy mother..with gentle nudges when you need them without being pushy.

As a mother of 4 and a postpartum doula…

As a mother of 4 and a postpartum doula I highly recommend MUTU for postpartum recovery whether you’re 6 weeks or 30 years post. I also wish I would have started with my previous pregnancies but I’m so glad I joined after my fourth! I have seen improvements in my pelvic floor and core strength while also getting a great workout in. Some of the negative reviews I’ve seen have mentioned you do the same four 10 minute routines over and over. That isn’t true. You start with walking everyday and core 1 at first then the program builds to add intensive 1. Over time you have the choice of doing core 1,2,3 & 4 (around 10 minutes each) as well as intensives 1,2,3 & 4 (around 23 minutes each). You can mix it up to keep variety if you like but it’s important to do them progressively to build your strength. This isn’t a high intensity workout/calorie reduction “get your body back” gimmick. This is a solid educational program teaching proper alignment, real food nutrition, functional movement, pelvic engagement and core strength. If you follow it you will see results. It might seem repetitive at first but that’s for a reason - to integrate the information and stimulate muscle memory. You also get extra content called masterclasses and support from both MUTU Pros and members of the program. The website, content and production value is amazing - especially for the price point.Hands down the best postpartum recovery program!

Perfect

I wish I had done this after each pregnancy until waiting until I was done having kids. This program has motivated be to start exercising again and is exactly what I needed to gain some confidence back.

Effective and simple

Straight forward, simple workouts that are effective. Diastasis closed and my core feels much stronger. I struggle to find time to do walk/core/intensive in one day with job/kids but I spend longer than a week at each level. I do what I can and still see results. The motivational chat can be a bit much for me personally and the forum/connect facility is not something I use. I agree with a previous reviews on the camera angles it is hard to see some workout as the angles don't do a full body shot or its very dark lighting. Overall am very happy with the gentle simple approach and it is working well for me.
