I view this service as a fraudulent forwarding company. For a simple 2 kg package with clothes from Germany to the Czech Republic, their cheapest shipping option exceeds 72€, while it should cost less than 10€. I've reached out to support multiple times, but they’ve ignored me for over 2 working days, causing significant delays. Unprofessional, overpriced, and unreliable. I strongly recommend avoiding this service.
I paid for my shipment (Order 5608902), stayed home the entire day, and yet the courier never attempted delivery. Instead, the package was returned directly to MyGermany without ever reaching me.Instead of resolving the issue, MyGermany keeps asking me to pay again to resend my already paid shipment – even though the failure was caused by their courier (DPD). As the sender, it is their legal obligation to file the complaint with the courier and deliver my package.I find this extremely unprofessional. Customers should not be forced to pay twice for a package that never even arrived. If MyGermany cannot handle something as simple as a parcel, how can they be trusted with anything more complex?I will escalate this case formally through consumer protection if it is not resolved.
As the CEO and founder of MYGERMANY we'd like to ask Christian Schmalisch to comment on the weak response we've received from his company, the very company that he founded.After a full 10 days with no shipping updates MYGERMANY have been utterly useless and totally incompetent. They NEVER answer the phone and, at best, will reply to emails once, maybe twice and then thats it, you're done with you and seemingly refuse to deal with your issue any more.Trying to get through to DHL Paket directly is made impossible by their decision not to deal with non-account holders. So, on that basis, we have no choice but to rely on MYGERMANY, the company we put our faith in, to deal with DHL directly. To-date they have failed and ask if they're happy to be measured by their failures or successes?Why can just one person at MYGERMANY not take this matter up on our behalf? Why is it deemed the better option to ignore disgruntled customers than help them?None of MYGERMANY's actions make any sense so take our advice, walk on and try another more professional company who might be willing to answer their telephone and quickly deal with your problem.Our rating 0/10 - waste of time, effort and money
Their service was never excellent, but it has now deteriorated. For example, their shipping calculator shows six possibilities, ranging from 62€ to 296€. When you ship your item, you have only one option: UPS Express, priced at 526€, provided shipping is possible. You cannot reach them by phone; you always get the answering machine—no call back, of course. Incoming shipments take up to three days to be booked, consolidating shipments up to four days. Actual shipping can take up to 3 days. What's the point of express shipping, then? Cannot recommend.
I am extremely disappointed with myGermany. They NEVER follow my instructions, and my packages arrived damaged without any compensation. The website provides a text box for specific shipping instructions, but they clearly never read it.Here’s my experience:- 5 August 2025 – I submitted very clear instructions: ship all items in their original packaging to protect fragile goods and preserve warranty claims. For one order, I even specified the seller’s outer box was required. Despite this, my instructions were ignored.Later that day – They replied that it “wasn’t possible” because the original packaging would be “damaged.” This made no sense since the photos that provided by them in my account clearly showed intact boxes. I immediately asked for clarification, especially for fragile items like a padel racket.- 6 August – They claimed there were “no original boxes,” only plastic bags and bubble wrap. Photos again proved otherwise. Instead of acknowledging their mistake, they dismissed the packaging as “shipping boxes” and admitted their team had already thrown them away without my concerned.- 8–13 August – I sent multiple follow-ups, requesting proper repacking with bubble wrap and filler, photographic proof before shipping, and written confirmation of compensation if items were damaged. Their only reply? A €20 voucher for a future shipment, insulting given the risk, cost, and wasted time.Worse part, they delayed responding to my emails, and in the meantime, they charged me storage fees for a problem they themselves created. This feels like a trick to make customers pay extra. I asked them to waive this fee, and of course they are ignoring me again.In the end, my items were shipped without the original protective packaging, leaving me to bear the full risk. Weeks of delays, dismissive replies, and refusal to take responsibility made this an exhausting and costly experience.This is not the first issue I’ve had with them, but it will be the last. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer care make it impossible to recommend them f you value your items and peace of mind, NEVER use their service, there are far more reliable alternatives out there.
