Do not use this company!*Update - Still no communication, no resolution. It's great that my Germany posted a reply, but unfortunately there has been no further communication. **If you want to waste your money and time, try using MyGermany to ship your items. The consolidation and repacking service is horrible. I paid for the highest level of packing protection and messaged them about making sure the items were packed well. The items that they packed for me arrived in a cobbled together box with banding used to hold the various pieces of cardboard together in some sort of box like shape. The items inside this makeshift package were smashed into little pieces. I immediately contacted the company to notify them of the damages to order# pSD1638901 and to start a shipping damage claim. This is when communication suddenly became non-existent. The customer service rep Dora advised me to contact the claims department. The claims department never did respond with any sort of claim form or information about status. I finally got Dora to at least tell me what exact info they needed from me to start the claim and I was able to provide that through the chat feature online and provided it directly to her. I then repeatedly followed up with emails and calls (of which no one answered). I spent months trying to get claim status information from this company and got complete silence in return. I emailed the president of the company and got no response either! Beware of using these people! They just take your money.
Updated – I did receive my refund. Thank you. I placed an order and paid to have them purchase an order from Kleinanzeigen basically Ebay in Berlin Germany. I heard nothing for a week so I asked them the status and it took them 2 days to respond. They said they cancelled my order because the seller was non-responsive. When I checked on the item on Klenanzeigen it was still showing as available. I placed an order with Shippn and they were able to purchase the item which I confirmed is now showing as purchased. Kind of disappointing since they are actually in Germany where my item is located.
Absolutely stay away from this company.SCAMMERS through and through.I've made an order with them a Month ago and i still have nothing. Contacted them multiple times for cancellation and refund and nothing, only got a few responses like "my colleague is not in the office i will let him know" crap, and no response from them after that. I contacted ODR and speaking to a lawyer to sue them. This is unacceptable, and will not be tollerated.
Used this service twice: first to deliver NAS and several hard drives with total weight around 4.5 kg, second - small watches less than 500g. Both deliveries were quite fast and steady, every parcel came completely undamaged. Support helped me to make twice cheaper Deutche post delivery for latest small package, despite this option was missing to my country. Completely satisfied and recommend this service.
Update 28/02/2024:Re-amending to 4 stars. All previously posted complaints were resolved when raised to management who to their credit apologised and expediently corrected for the mix-up. 2 days ago I received the consolidated shipment containing many individual parcels in perfect condition. Shipped via DHL Economy and received in 10 days which is quite fast for Germany to Australia. I am reluctant to restore the original 5 stars due to the copious back and forth emails. However myGermany is a solid and good company that do deliver in the end. After 4 shipments with the company I always receive everything in perfect condition and they do take customer complaints seriously.Update 24/11/2024:Unfortunately too many issues with myGermany and therefore i am amending my previous 5 star review to 3 stars overall (therefore this is a 1 star review).They either refuse to properly read emails or apply ridiculous markups to shipping costs. I requested to ship items within Germany but they insist I am shipping the goods internationally. In addition ridiculous shipping for a 1 kg package within Germany. Expected to pay ~108 EUR domestic! I previously used this company all the time but will likely avoid in future.
