Great Shoe, shame about the Company

This is the third time I’ve ordered from OC…I had forgotten the disappointment of the previous experience because, actually, the shoes are stylish and well made.It’s the pricing, promotion, distribution and communications that suck.Spurious ‘Memorial Day discounts’ that evaporate, discount codes that don’t work, an astonishing and unannounced 40% INCREASE in total cost due to duty and VAT being collected in the UK, and in DHL an inept logistics and delivery partner.I ordered three pairs, to date I’ve received one, so this will be the last time that I order from OC…a shame really, as their actual product is pretty good.

Color changes after the first cleaning

For Mother's Day I received a pair of tennis shoes as a gift. One day the shoes got dirty and I had to clean them with the cleaning kit. I followed the instructions but the color of the shoes changed completely. They discolored. I'm waiting for a response from customer service because For the price of the shoes, good quality is expected. I don't know what to do, it wasn't my fault. I'm sure they won't do anything. How sad to sell something that changes after the first cleaning.

Skin peeling off a pair of new Low 1 | Black on 1st…

Ordered a pair of Low 1 | Black on 1st June. They arrived in just 5 days shipping to UK where I am. They looked great and I was very happy.Then a week or two later after a handful of uses in dry conditions mostly in the office at work the top skin of the leather on the tongues started coming off.I sent photos to Oliver Cabell and described to situation. They responded and seemed to take this seriously. Then after a week or so more I received another response that said: “I have shared the photos you sent with our internal team, and it does seem to be a relatively minor issue that is unlikely to have a long-term effect on the Shoes.”The skin continues to peel off. I hope there’s a way to add some photos here so others can judge a how minor the issue is and ask how they would feel about a new pair of sneakers looking like this.

Poor service and feels cheap

I would rate one star but I can't be that hard as the shoes look okay.Be careful if you buy from outside of the USA. I bought this thinking it was Australian and got a rude shock with the currency conversion after the transaction. When I have purchased on other sites previously at the check out it stipulated the currency. Oliver Cabell doesn't manage customer service very well. Took them nearly 2 weeks to get back to me and when they finally did it was like talking to a brick wall.Once putting the shoes on they fit my foot nicely however the sole was so hard and uncomfortable. I want to avoid doing any walking in these. In addition, once i took them off there were deep creases on top of the shoe. I barely walked 500m and the new shoe look is gone. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I ordered a pair of shoes, and they still haven't arrived after 3 weeks. I was told they would arrive after 3-5 business days. Very poor service. When I used their, "Track your order"- feature, it always said, "Order placed". Very shady.

SCAM SITE - AVOID!!!!

SCAM SITE - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!I ordered trainers as my son’s main birthday present on 8 May, which had an expected delivery of 3-5 days. I was then told the trainers were a pre order item and wouldn’t be made until June at the earliest. I asked for a refund, they asked me to choose another pair of shoes that were in stock ready for immediate dispatch. We did this. Then they sent the wrong size after several emails from me confirming the required size, then I got hounded for an additional £59 “import duties charge” before they’d deliver the shoes. I objected only to be told the terms and conditions of sale state I’d have to pay a £75 undelivered item charge!!I said no, I want a refund and to cancel my order. They then said they’d pay the duties and cancel the £75 charge if I still accepted the trainers. My son wanted the damn trainers so I reluctantly agreed - I was told the trainers were on their way - received update emails saying they’d been dispatched etc - only to receive another email from Niel at Cabells stating this second pair of “in stock for immediate dispatch” trainers were, in fact, out of stock and to proceed we’d have to start the whole sorry saga again of choosing an alternative pair. THIS IS CLEARLY A ROGUE, SCAMMING SITE - NEVER ORDER FROM THEM.I am now having to pursue this as a dispute, a breach of the distance selling regulations/ consumer contract regulations. Financial mis-selling and fraud are criminal offences and I will need to claim compensation / damages. I am an experienced solicitor (currently non practicing) so they have messed with the wrong person. Oliver Cabell’s have circa £200 of my hard earned money and I want it back plus damages for the hours/days/weeks spent on this to still have no trainers and be significantly out of pocket.In response to the reply, I did not use the same login details for the cabell’s site as I did for trust pilot - the criterion is different. Niel has been emailing me until sudden radio silence after I asked for a full refund. I have emailed daily for five days and still no refund. I am circa £240 down plus several minutes / hours of my time spent on this. Please respond to my emails and provide me with a refund!
