I have been waiting for my refund for 1 month. Be careful, at the time of my purchase, a computer bug (of the site) charged me for 3 orders. Obviously, you should not need your money quickly because the after-sales service is almost non-existent. The service does not set up anything for the refund and no commercial gesture is proposed. made your payment via paypal or a card with single debit.
I purchased this phone on Black Friday. They were suppose to come with the Bud Z. However, I did not get them. So I called trying to figure out what was happening. I got told a bunch of different stories until finally getting escalated to a supervisor. The supervisor offered me a $20 voucher to buy them on Cyber Monday, which I accepted because the price of the headphones dropped to $20, but they never sent me the voucher. Three or four days past and the don’t respond to my email, so I call them. I uploaded the email exchange with the supervisor to the rep. They weren’t sure what to do. So they had to let a supervisor email me 24 hours later. And my issue has still not been solved. This has been one of the worst buying experience I’ve had. I spend $500 on a phone for them to fight me on $40 dollar headphones. Mind blowing.
Much like many others on here, This will be the last Oneplus phone I purchase. I had a problem with my one plus 7 pro, where whomever I called could not hear me, this coincided with the release of the 9 pro, so I bit the bullet and purchased it. I'm now having the same issue, along with random shutdowns, no mobile data. But the worst part is obviously when your near on £1000 "flagship killer" doesn't even do the one thing it should be able to do, which is function as a phone. Oneplus service is shocking, and they don't even acknowledge any existence of these faults. Do yourself a favour if you dont want to purchase a very expensive brick, ignore the paid for 5 star reviews and shop with another brand
Placed an order but forgot my coupon code. Contacted customer support and they said cancel the order and then re-order. Which I did. Even check my orders to double check the first one was gone before I replaced the order again. Customer service even told me the money would be back in my account within 2 to 5 days.Fast foward 24 hours and I get 2 emails that say my order has been shipped. So the original order didnt cancel and I was basically told tough. Refuse the order when it gets here and when they receive it back they will return the money. That will be almost a month, coming up to Christmas! Your system glitched and Im told tough, we cant do anything its your fault. Not good enough! Customer service is shocking! The phones arent worth it, if thats how you get treated
Had an absolutely horrible experience with their customer service staff when I was told clearly, if the price drops within 14 days I will get the difference back so confidently I ended up buying their buds which dropped from $39.99 to $19.99 within two days as expected on cyber Monday, so I ended up asking for the difference back and so the first representative agreed with me and then escalated the issue, later on about 5 days later I recieved a response that they cannot give me my difference back :D. Tried again for the second time to which the representative seemed like he had absolutely no Idea what I was talking about and was telling me I didn't apply a coupon, giving me all different excuses to which I had to find the coupon and showed it to him after which he apologized and few hours later his email said said they cannot issue the price difference back because it was a Cyber Monday sale. 3 phones and some accessories later lesson learned, you are better off buying google pixel, samsung etc. atleast they would honor their word and provide better customer service.
Oneplus charged me for 20€ shipping even though I had a free shipping coupon applied when I ordered the item. They later tell you that they won’t refund it because it was never applied even though I took close attention to apply it. I cannot recommend anyone from ordering at if they care about customer service. Edit:What they say is untrue, I haven't redeemed any other coupon code. The system even had let me use my Free Shipping Coupon. Oneplus acts like I have used some other sort of coupon code which I haven't.
Really bad . Have a 5g problem which I joined an existing thread to say I have the same problem they send a rediculus thread of how to open a log (very convoluted) and when I said you obviously don't read my message they sent the same mail again . Just reply to the first thread with the fix maybe ?????
I had no issues with my phone for quite a long time. It has only been after their latest update that everything has gotten worse and worse. I don't understand what they had to fix as it was working perfectly. First they changed the design of things which in fact I think is the only thing they've done and sabotaged all the rest. The new look is absolutely blah, no point in it. What you'll get instead is your phone shutting down without letting you know anything about the battery running out. The display settings will always change during the day and not stay as you have selected them. The sleep mode always goes back to the minimum amount, so reading anything becomes a challenge as the screen will start going dark in no time. You have to constantly change it in settings. The Bluetooth also turns on on its own, the autorotate will turn off every time, and your screen will freeze as well. It is such a piece of s**t now that I would be ashamed of I were them. I'm not sure what happened in their company but things are going to hell. Don't buy this phone, don't encourage mediocrity by any means.
