I ordered a OnePlus 8T+5G in December…

I ordered a OnePlus 8T+5G in December 2022. I traded in a Oneplus 6T thinking I would receive a credit to my credit card or a check. I waited for a month then had to send them an email to inquire about the trade-in. They issued me a voucher for $80.00 that could be used to purchase items on their website. I tried several times to use the voucher but on checkout the voucher value would not show up. I contacted their support personnel and got the runaround. I was told the voucher could not be used for discounted items. The item I was trying to buy was not on sale or discounted, when I brought that to their attention then they came up with the excuse that the voucher could not be used for upgraded models. Those earbuds has been on their website for a long time. The voucher is worthless under what conditions can the vouchers be used. While communicating sometimes it felt I was dealing with a computer. I don't recommend doing business with this organization. If you do don't trade-in your old phone. I know that they will respond that this is not what they represent. Tell us what do you represent with your poor customer support.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Received a product which developed a fault. Contacted oneplus to obtain a replacement and its been an awful experience ever since. Replies take days to come and then they are difficult to understand. I have returned the product and expected a replacement but instead I have been given a voucher to use to buy a replacement from their website but all the replacement items are out of stock and have been for over 6 weeks. They have also added restrictions on to the voucher so I'm limited to what I can buy. Customer services now won't help me. I'm stuck with a voucher I can't spend and no replacement. All i wanted was a replacement but instead I've had nothing but poor customer service and disappointment. How do they expect me to be happy with not being able replace my faulty item? After almost 2 months since I reported the problem I have no replacement product. I also haven't been given a refund so I could buy an alternative from somewhere else. I am currently out of pocket and fed up. This company as they will not help solve any issues nor will they escalate your concerns to get them solved.

former loyal customer. They are scammers. They offer "deals" all the time, but you never get them. They sell you on a mystery box with a free phone, and you get a case instead, even when you already paid for one in the order. Last time I am deceived by this company. Bye forever OnePlus.Then they send a support link, to which I already painfully have gone through yesterday with no resolve.

One Plus 8 has been the worst mobile phone experience I have ever had.

The One Plus 8 I use has to be one of the worst mobile phone experiences I have ever had to endure. The split screen has had multiple updates to fix it, it's still. Broken. Highlighting text is awful, just trying to thumb up a reddit post is awful as the touch screen seems super sensitive. The camera is meh, clip anything from a video and you will get a stuttering clip. Stereo speakers sound poor. I would recommend you stay far away from the One Plus 8, not sure how the others are but I will never be buying to find out.

Order not being executed+no information about getting refund.

My order has not been executed in 1 week. There is no way to cancel the order or ask for a refund. No response from customer service. No emails shared regarding order status. I only have a message from Bluedart saying the order has been sent back to Shipper (i.e. One Plus). Have not received any further communication from one plus.Probably safer to order from Amazon rather than OnePlus website

One plus phones are great but pathetic customer care service

Yes one plus has great phones but it's customer service is pathetic. I have been using one plus 6 for last more than 3 years without any issue. I wanted to upgrade to OnePlus 9 and ordered on OnePlus website with exchange of my old OnePlus 6. But at the time of delivery my phone got rejected (seriously don't know why). But I don't have any complaints on that. First i got mail saying that delivery exception "consignee refused to accept" ( what a joke) later they corrected and sent mail " returned to origin at shipper's request".I have waited 4 days and called OnePlus. One executive told that refund initiated but when I asked why I have not received details through mail/sms....no answer from her. The fact is she is also not able to see those details. Strange.Later I contacted another executive through whatsapp chat....she said that no refund initiated. Which one to believe??The executive in chat told that the product reached warehouse on 18th and when I asked then why there is no refund initiated....there is no answer from her except for"don't worry". Clearly there is lot of miscommunication or gap in this order. Inconsistency in the information provided. I didn't expect this from OnePlus. I hope The replies from"OnePlus" here should be given with concrete reply rather than usual English jargons like " highlighted to concern department", "resolved at the earliest" etc The fact is that i have not received my refund and my Bank started deducting EMI.

"Trade in" program is a scam

Back in November 2021 I purchased a new OnePlus 9 5G phone. Part of the reason was that OnePlus was promoting a "Trade-in" program with a $100 bonus. They estimated my 6t was worth $70 value...so I was potentially going to get $170 back.The phone was sent to a third party company, Phobio, that does the actual eval and fulfil the $100 promo. Well, Phobio came back with a $20 valuation of my 6t. Ok, so I am prepared to live with that so long as I get the $100 bonus as promised and promoted on the OnePlus site. There is a lot more involved in the story but bottom line is neither OnePlus, or Phobio is fulfilling the promised trade-in program. I have a whole bunch of emails with apologies and promises, all of which appear to be nothing more than stalling tactics, hoping I will give up. Well, I am not giving up and in fact I think there is a legal case of "bait and switch" and false advertising. I am on the OnePlus forums and there are multiple complaints of similar instances of denied trade-in valuations and payments.OnePlus does not value its customers, nor support its promotion programs.However...I will give them 5 stars for their abject apologies...if only they cared as much about the customers as they do apologizing for their horrendous customer service...saying you're sorry, no matter how florid the language, does not fix the problem or make one feel better. We want solutions not verbal diarrhea.

Bad customer service

Bad customer service. Did send my phone in for repair under warranty. Got it back, not fixed but damaged! Their customer service is the worst. Never again!After their reaction under my review I thought they might try to contact me. But nothing happened! I still have a phone that's not fixed and came back from the OnePlus repair in an even worse condition. Had some interaction with their rude customer service that basically told me that it is my own fault... Certainly it is, for buying OnePlus.Bad - worse - OnePlus

Horrible service and not worth the money spent.

My Oneplus 8 phone was just 1 year old. It was completely fine and working. The company gave a software update in October after which my phone shut down every 10 seconds. I complained about it to the company and also in the service centres. The staff in the service centre are so irresponsible, rude and unprofessional. They don’t value the money people spent on their products. My phone atleast turned on when I gave it for servicing. Those people didn’t return my device for many days and when I asked for it they weren’t ready to give it back. I demanded for my device to be returned, don’t know what they did with it, my phone aas completely dead. They accepted their mistake but didn’t do a thing to compensate. Instead I had been asked to pay 26000 to get it repaired. Why should I pay when I am not at fault. I’ve taken proper care of the phone. No dents, no falls, no cracks, and not even a single scratch. I even took care of when my phone should be charged, charged it 100% and never plugged it again until the battery was less than 30%. Is this how delicate your products are ? If yes then please stop manufacturing. Your phones are not worth the price and care. I suggest don’t buy the products from them.. they don’t take responsibility of their mistakes.

Worst customer service do not know how to treat customer

Recently ordered a new Oneplus Nord phone from their website while they were having an offer of a free bumper case with the purchase. Went to the checkout on their website and the phone case was out of stock. So went ahead and ordered the phone. Within 4 days of purchasing the phone that offer was available again on their website so contacted the customer service team for help and ask if they could provide this bumper case to me since I could not get it 4 days back. They blatantly refused to honor it saying nothing can be done about it and if you want you can return the phone and order it again to get the bumper case which is very unhelpful and really bad customer service as you are already providing this to some customers and do not want to provide it to others. With this customer service and attitude, this brand will not go very far.
