My oneplus 7Tpro have some display issues. I visit service centre they told me to come tomorrow. So I go there the next day and it was close. I stand there for almost 2 hours. Then I go there again the next day and what they told me? We don't have the display right now. Like what the actual F? We spend more than 50k on their goddamn phone and this type of service we are getting. I also tell them to contact me once you get the display back on stock, they told me that you have contact us and check if it is available. Seriously? Now I have to do this? I even contact them to ask but guess what? They do not even bother to pick up my calls. Now, I am so done with oneplus. Not only me but my friends and colleagues too. One plus only knows to launch 4-5 phones in a single year but not know how to give proper service.
Disgusting customer service from Oneplus. My phone is defective and was reported to Oneplus when it was 3 days old. 7 advisors later I am still no further ahead. I was told by customer service that the 9 pro didn't support screen cast and that I would have to buy a cable and no response to emails are amongst some of the issues I have experienced. We also did not receive the gaming controllers promised as a free gift at point of purchase. First time dealing with Oneplus Tech support and can't actually believe how bad it is.Update 09/06/2021. Now returning handset for replacement. Hopefully this will be a streamlined process unlike my experience of Oneplus support thus far. Case ID 210608-007062Update 21/06/2021. Phone received by Oneplus 11 days ago. Zero communication received. When I enquired about progress am told I need to wait a further 3-7 days despite being told this would take 12 days max from receipt. Now asking for a refund but as yet no response. Update 22/06/21 Multiple customer service agents have responded to my complaint none of which know what the other is doing! Obviously none of them bother to read the case details before replying as they keep asking me for the same information time and time again. Extremely poor grammar and English seem to be standard practice. Still no confirmation of refund. Case now escalated with Resolver.Update 24/06/2021. 14 days later my replacement phone has been dispatched despite multiple requests for a refund which were all ignored. After ignoring my requests for a refund I now have to send the phone back but only AFTER inspection??Poorly worded copy and paste replies to irate customers only make us angrier!!!Update 20/07/2021: STILL trying to chase our free gifts. You couldn't write this..............
I bought a OnePlus 8T on the back of excellent reviews but I found the phone would randomly mute me on phone calls. I see this is a problem others have and not user related, so I asked OnePlus for help and that's where my problems really started... A Phone that cannot be relied on to make phone calls is not fit for purpose. I was given several solutions involving various resets up to a full factory reset and none of these worked. This was obviously inconvenient. Eventually this was escalated to a 'remote session' where a time would be arranged for a service tech to call me, remotely log into my PC and Phone and using software I had downloaded for the purpose 'flash' the device. Apart from sounding super dodgy and a massive security risk, I went ahead and made the arrangment. Unfortunately the tech didn't call at the arranged time on several occasions!! This had now been going on for almost four months so I asked for my money back or a replacement device. OnePlus refused and now want me to send it away for service. I see from the reviews below that this is unlikely to solve the problem and may damage my phone. Given their record for a faulty product and the worst customer support I have ever encountered I can only say avoid this company and their products at all costs. I cannot express how frustrating and enraging - and wasteful of time and money - it is to deal with OnePlus. UPDATE - The situation is getting worse. Now the service reps are cutting my questions from email chains and pasting in their own old replies, so it just goes around in circles. They are making no effort to solve my problem and will not escalate to anyone senior. They have effectively refused to deal with the problem. I still have a phone that is not fit for purpose and OnePlus are refusing to refund or replace the faulty item and do not attend arranged service calls. If the situation was unacceptable before it is even worse now!UPDATE: Now 'Customer Service' respond by ignoring my replies and repeating an earlier message to which I already replied, creating a loop. In addition to not turning up to service calls, they will now not reply, they will not escalate and they will not do anything about my faulty handset (which should be replaced or refunded at this stage). They won't give me a postal address for a formal written complaint either. They appear to have absolutely no intention of resolving my complaint and will leave me with an expensive phone I can't reliably use as an actual phone. Anyone buying a OnePlus phone is taking an enormous risk.... In my experience there's no genuine backup available if anything happens. Worst and most insincere customer service everFINAL UPDATE: After almost five months of trying to sort my faulty phone, which OnePlus refuse to replace or refund me for, and with no sign of any end to this being reached I have decided that the frustration and sheer hopelessness of dealing with the worst and most insincere customer service ever is just not worth it (which may have been their intention all along...). OnePlus would only engage if I sent the phone to Poland for them to physically repair it and I could only do that if I was given a 'loaner device' while I was left with no phone for god knows how long... I sent in the necessary documents and was then told my phone would be collected for service in 24 Hrs depsite not having received any loaner device. When I enquired where it was I was asked for my name, address and phone number, which is at the end of every email I sent them! I am tired of going in circles and I will have to SETTLE (ironic isn't it...) with a crappy unreliable faulty handset until I can afford to buy a phone from a competitor. It's been a truly horrible experience dealing with OnePlus and they have ripped me off, but at least I will never have to deal with OnePlus again.
Would give zero stars if I could. Spent $900 for a new one plus 8. Phone looked great and worked well. Until about two weeks after. Phone wouldn't make any calls at times. Also if you get the call to go thru after two minutes it just randomly hangs up. Looked it up to fix it after many attempt to contact one plus but never got a email or call back about the situation. So after 2 weeks of having the phone it's only good as an old IPhone with no service.
Just wanted to share my negative experience. My 1 month old 9 Pro had issues with crashing, overheating, extreme battery drain, unresponsive display and uneven screen glass. It went in for investigation to SBE LTD ( official repair centre for Oneplus). The repair centre examine the faults and decided that the screen, battery and the motherboard needed replacing. I made a request to Oneplus customer care to replace the device for the new one instead of swapping all the listed parts. Purely because the phone was fairly new and it should not have had those problems to begin with. Anyway, my request got ignored and repair centre went ahead with replacing the majorly of internal parts. I received back the poorly patched up Frankenstein... Back cover was not glued back and it was scratched, shockingly the main camera lens has been deformed by the heat gun that they used to take it apart. I have made a complaint to Oneplus support & SBE asking to replace the handset immediately, after one week I received an email claiming that this was not possible and that I had to send the phone back to repair centre to be fixed again.Reply to the bellow comment response:What a helpful and amazing reply, first of all no apologies for what I have been put through. Secondly such comment does not help at all in getting a resolution. The last suggestion was to return the phone for repairs for the second time after the repair centre did not fix the faults and on top damaged my property. No, thank you, you keep this faulty damaged junk and give me the new device.
I've been using OnePlus 9 Pro(128GB) for over 2 months ago (issue started within 3-4 weeks) and have been having issues with phone crashes and screen freezes. The screen freezes randomly while I'm using an app (can be any app like Instagram or Chrome) and sometimes it freezes at the lock screen when I'm trying to unlock it via fingerprint - the fingerprint scanner lights up and freezes. The only way out is to hard reboot the phone.Sometimes the phone reboots itself while I'm using it and (weird enough) sometimes while I'm not even using it.It's frustrating because I got this phone no more than 2 months ago.
I have owned this piece of junk for 2 years now , and it is paid off. Now the new update has decided that charging the phone to 100% is bad for the battery life so now it will only charge to around 79%. What a piece of junk don't buy this company's product. Their customer service has been horrible since day one. The phone is substandard in almost every way no matter what others say about it. This thing doesn't remote charge. Not Water proof rated stating they do it to save the customers money. Hell if it cost $1000 to get it rated for water proof and you sell 10,000 wow you saved the customer 10 cents awesome you cheapskates. Don't buy this. They just want to save a buck for themselves Just a cheap low quality product from a small terrible company that for some reason some people just love. I really fell most of these people just don't want to admit they made a bad bad choice. I bought the hype from the sales person and the media. But I have overall hated owning this thing it only works slightly better than my old $100 LG.
I have been a loyal customer of OnePlus for many years. Not only do i use the phones but my company does as well. I recently upgraded to the OnePlus 9 and although not overly impressed at the lack of improvements, it is still a good phone for the price. However, where OnePlus are falling down is the customer service. I sent one of my phones in for repair and 10 days later, nothing has been done. I was on the phone for 1/2 hour (for the second time) to OnePlus to find out what was going on. As usual, outside of UK call centre. Guy was not particularly helpful, blaming everyone but OnePlus. Finally (after several attempts) he managed to send me a quotation link for the repair. Not really interested in my annoyance at the 10 day delay. OnePlus need to get their customer service an IT sorted if they hope to grow in the marketplace. There is too much serious completion for them to have such appalling customer service.
