Worst Experience ever - I won't recommend anyone OnePlus

I have been big follower of OnePlus and used almost all phones that they came up with. My wife bought Oneplus9 pro as gift. I was really happy but after Android patch upgrade, my camera stopped working and it indeed impacted everything (we use Paytm or scanner to pay these days in Covid, can't do office zoom calls, can't take pictures of my little one etc). I have been making tonnes of calls and chats with support folks and escalated many times but still there is no response or delayed response over 3-4 days. The outcome is still my issue hasn't been resolved and very poor customer experience. I would say that OnePlus needs revamp of their support services and need to focus more there compared to product as it is really frustrating customers which are absolutely key.I don't know what I can do further but I won't recommend this phone to anyone else from now on. Regards,Mitesh

Very poor customer services

Support is below standard, emails are of poor grammar and often delay tactic emails. I've have been ignored an lied too and continually go round in circles.I am now raising my compliant with Ombudsman and will be telling Watchdog how you do uphold your contract or care for your customers.Reply below is standard text that I've been sent on other correspondences, you really do to look at other companies and how they manage their customer experience, I'm at the point where I will sell my very loved OnePlus 8T phone simply because of the service provided here.

OnePlus does not value its customers

If support is important, look elsewhere. OnePlus does not value its customers. When I made my purchase, OnePlus generated two orders and shipped two phones: one to my current address and one to my previous address. I didn't want two phones and I only received a receipt for one order. I did, however, receive a shipment notification for both orders. When I saw that, I called OnePlus support and they informed me there was nothing they could do about it and suggested that I contact FedEx. So I called FedEx and they informed me the only way they can change a delivery address is if the shipper requests it. So I called OnePlus again and they refused to update the shipping address. So I called FedEx again and asked them to return the package to OnePlus. FedEx then contacted OnePlus to arrange the return and OnePlus refused it and requested it be redelivered. There's no signature required even if you pay the extra $9.99, so a $1000 phone was just dropped on a stranger's doorstep. Fortunately, I got the delivery notification, jumped in the car, and drove the hour to my old residence to pick up the package before it was picked up by a thief. I was informed that submitting a claim for a lost parcel is an option, but the only way to do that is to file a police report and send OnePlus a copy of it and your government ID. I spoke to six different OnePlus representatives. Not one of them offered any assistance. One of them even flat out lied. All they needed to do was contact FedEx and update the delivery address. I spent hours on the phone between OnePlus and FedEx and hours in the car to go correct their mistake. OnePlus support is where your time goes to die. They are the worst. It's not worth it. Get a different phone from a company with better support.EDIT: The response to this review from OnePlus is the same canned BS I heard from their support agents while no effort was actually made to resolve the situation.

OnePlus 9 - 5G does not work on O2 UK

I recently bought the new OnePlus 9 phone. On first impressions, it is excellent with a great camera, fast charging, etc. However, there's a bit of a show-stopper that is not at all clear when you purchase the device. It does not support 5G on the O2 UK network (including resellers like Tesco and GiffGaff). OnePlus has confirmed that the issue lies with them rather than O2 but gives no timescales to resolve it. In fact, it's an issue that has impacted previous models and still exists today (> 1 year later). So it's a 5 star if you're on another network that 5G works on, otherwise only a 3! and that I believe is generous.Update: Thank you, OnePlus, for your feedback. However, I would like to share with everyone why your comments are not accurate. Key points:* Band - O2 does support the Bands required (n28/n78) and all LTE bands. This was confirmed by both O2 and OnePlus technical support.* There is no explicit white/blacklisting of phones performed by O2. This is a problem with the OnePlus implementation or configuration. To comment on the last point made. I have reviewed the OnePlus community forums, and if you search for the term "O2 UK 5G", you will see plenty of results. Here are some examples if you search for the term and pick the closest matching article by name:- Search term: "5g on o2 UK"A manual workaround proves the phone and O2 can work together but do not out of the box. No information is provided on how well the two work together.- Search term: "O2 UK 5G network is disabled"Explains why it is a OnePlus issue and not an O2 issue. There is likely an unexplained reason behind this that OnePlus should be more transparent about. I hope OnePlus will explain to its customer what the real underlying issue is and when it will be fixed (if at all).- Search for term: "5G on O2 UK"Note how long this issue has existed and on previous handsets. Also, a statement from O2.

FAKE FLASH DEAL

27/052021 i recieve an email for a flash sale with price 1 euro of the item One Plus bullets wireless Z. The time that was in sale the site was not working and always the message that it coming was "Oops, the spaceship just got lost! We are trying to get it back to earth.". when i was trying to make an order. After 2 hours the item was still available and until today i recieve emails that the item is still available in price of 49,95 euros. I was sending many emails to customer service and they giving me the answer that they had a problem and they cant do nothing for this. After this they gave me an offer to buy the item at 70% of the price and i didnt accept it. One of the worst costumer services.

I have emailed 5 times in the last 2…

I have emailed 5 times in the last 2 weeks trying to get a problem solved with my oneplus8 and I have only received 2 replies asking for the documentation that I have already provided 5 times prior in the same email thread. My phone will not connect to any Bluetooth speaker or headphones and I know other OnePlus owners also experiencing the same issue yet I am receiving no help with this. Really really poor customer service.

Midrange Kings!

OnePlus's midrange phones are amongst the best you can get. Stop buying overpriced Samsungs or Iphones and start getting real tech for real prices.

Business model based on wrongly keeping your money

Ordered and received One Plus Buds Z for $54.99 CAD (regular price $69.99). Shipping was $12.99 and "reimbursement of import taxes payable" (whatever that is) was $8.16 for a total of $76.14. They looked nice but the sound kept cutting out and switching from ear to ear. I contacted One Plus and they sent me a shipping label and sent them back for a full refund. Only it wasn't full, it was for $61.59 (missing $14.55). The first person I chatted with on the site initially told me that they deducted shipping, then backtracked and said that they kept the discount (huh?). Then she admitted she had no idea why the refund wasn't complete and said she would talk to a manager to get it sorted out. Needless to say, I didn't hear back. So I chatted again, days later. This time, the support agent insisted it was shipping that was held back off my refund. I pointed out again that their terms of sale state that returned products would be FULLY refunded. Nowhere does it state that shipping would be deducted (and it's not even the same amount). Finally he agreed to refund me "as a gesture of goodwill". The kicker? THEY STILL DIDN'T REFUND ME THE FULL AMOUNT. They only gave me $12.99, so I'm still short $1.56. I've already wasted too much time with these people. Just beware, they are scammers, and no one knows what they are doing.
