3 in 1 cherry tree arrived smelling rotten with dying and shriveled up leaves. I immediately notified online orchards about the poor condition the tree arrived in and requested to return for a refund the same day it arrived. Customer service told me that since the tree is green under the bark, it is living tissue. I still requested to return due to the poor condition. All 3 different cherry branches have since died and customer service won’t respond to me.
The worst. I should've did research before buying from these people. I never received my plant. I don't even think they sent it. I had put my business address. Got in touch with them 30 seconds after I realize I sent it to work address. The emailed me saying they sent it already. I said ok. Now I been waiting over 3 weeks and the tree stoll hasn't came. Tried to get in touch again about where the tree is and no replies.....crickets crickets....before i gave this scathing review I emailed plenty of emails to see if they would correct the problem.
I wish I would have read these reviews before purchasing. I went through all these issues others have shared. No response to emails. They messed up the credit card purchase, shipping took almost two weeks, the trees arrived wilted with mold on the roots. Tried saving them but they are dead. No response to emails. Once they get your money, you aren't even an afterthought. I'll be contacting the BBB to report them. I recommend others do the same if they had these issues. Prove me wrong Online Orchards and answer my emails!
I ordered 7 Karl Foerster Avalanche ornamental grass plants in May 2024 and 4 of the 7 plants were Miscanthus sinensis 'Zebrinus' (Zebra Grass). When they arrived they all looked the same and were tagged as Karl Foerster Avalanche. It wasn't until they were in the ground for months when the Zebra Grass started to get it's stripes on the blades of grass. At that point, when I realized I received 4 wrong plants, the return date had past. These were purchased through Home Depot; I will never buy from Online Orchard again!!
Ordered a Santa Rosa plum tree. The bare root tree was shipped to me not dormant and already leafed out. Some leaves and branches were dead so I had to prune the dead branches. Unfortunately my Santa Rosa tree didn’t survive. Why would you not pot trees that are out of dormancy and leafing out. I from Indiana so shipping can be up to a week. I am very upset and wish I read the reviews first. Beware!!
Ordered online after 2 weeks never got a notice of shipment so tried to call several times no response sent emails no response finally called the credit card company and got my money back that way sad part about it Home Depot uses the same company and I didn't realize it until after I placed the order they say I will get it by May 20th but I'm very doubtful because it hasn't even been shipped yet so I may be trying to get my money back from Home Depot or a credit back
Don't order from this company! After 3 weeks of trying to get in touch with them I have never received an answer from my 3 emails. If you notice there is no phone number for this company on their website. I have no idea if they are even going to send me the plants I ordered. So as of today 05/23/2024 I am going to call my credit card company and request a refund. This company has already charged my credit card. Don't even try to work with this company, they are a sham.
ordered a Crimson King Maple tree, received a stick with the top cut off. this is an old cut. have sent two emails inquiring about this stick tree. so far no response. a stick with top chopped off. you are never supposed to top off a tree.
To be honest after I had not received updates on my purchase on the first week, I looked for reviews online and saw a bunch of bad reviews and let myself be influenced by them so emailed the company to follow up on the status of my purchase. The company responded within 24hrs stating that my order would be shipped the Friday of that same week, then the next day I got a notification that a label had been created and it remained like that for about 1 week. So I sent a follow up email again, but no response was received so I decided to press on the tracking of the package. I noticed that it said my tree would be delivered the next day. The next day I received the tree with the pleasant surprise that it was well wrapped, very healthy 3-4ft tree with a few sprouts already coming up. I ordered the cherry tree 3 in 1. The roots were well packaged and very clean. There was no dirt on the roots, but they appeared healthy. The tree has been in ground for almost 1 week now and is still looking very healthy. I am so happy with my purchase and feel guilty letting others influence my perception of things. My sincere apologies to online orchards. I am very happy with the little tree. Thank you!
