Review Time
Have placed two orders with this business in last couple of months and both had problems. The first which was slow to arrive had one of the two items missing. The second order, despite being shown as in stock did not arrive. After three weeks, a couple of emails and a number of attempted phone calls (phone never answered) was told item was out of stock. Have at least got my paypal charge refunded.Will not be using again,
Poor service , Website lists items for sale but does not show out fo stock items , as previous reviews , no contact from shop hiding behind covid restrictions on communications , the only way to contact is via PayPal resolution dispute , The only positive is receiving a full refund via PayPalwould not recommend or ever use , look elsewhere Ebay is a much better option
I ordered some items from Osborns Models some two weeks ago online and am still waiting for delivery. Up till now I've given them the benefit of the doubt due to the increase in parcel delivery problems being experienced by Royal Mail. However they are no longer answering the phone and have failed to reply to any of my emails regarding whether items have been posted. Have they gone out of business but still taking orders and customers's money as their ordering website still appears to be live ?
Osborn's appear to be an ideal destination for railway modellers however it didn't turn out like this for me. After ordering (and paying for) ballast and paint seven months ago I still have not received either. I have emailed them many times with only two apologetic replies, the most recent two months ago! Despite this, their website is still advertising that they are taking orders with no mention of any delays.
Osborn Models is now a ghost shop, the only feature still working on the website is the payment module. So if you pass an online order you will receive no order confirmation, no invoice, no tracking number or shipment notification, your calls won't be answered and your email will get an auto response... but your money will be taken. (The only way to get a full refund is to use Paypal) Stay away from Osborn Models.
Extremely poor. Ordered two weeks ago, only confirmation is by the fact I ordered via PayPal. Called daily for confirmation but the shop has not responded over two weeks at all times of the day. Escalated issue to paypal, now hoping for a refund via them.
Would not recommend this shop in any way. Bought some couplings from their website which showed as in stock. 10 days on, I had heard and received nothing. Emailed and tried phoning but no response and not answering the phone. Had to open a case through PayPal. After another 15 days, no response to PayPal requests either. PayPal refunded. Avoid like the plague
Placed an order recently. Received immediate confirmation email but without a delivery date. I emailed for info and got an immediate phone call saying delivery within a few days. Caller was courteous and helpful. Will post again when order arrives but happy so far.
