Absolutely terrible. I paid my subscription last week and still can’t view messages and views etc. Now I just paid another £1 because they said they could then sort it out. I just want a refund of what I’ve paid but it’s like getting blood out of a stone. All I wanted was access to the site - don’t think I’ll bother anymore unless they can come up with the right solution.
First time joining a dating app, never again, signed up for one week but after two days it became apparent that it was an automated, probably AI run app. So I decided to try and cancel? That's where the problem arose, when you try to cancel it takes you to an offer page which gives you £2 off a week, if you do not accept the so called generous offer, it doesn't let you go any further, I tried numerous times to cancel, each time the same problem.When I clicked their link for, customer service, the screen just went blank, tried that numerous times. Went onto PayPal for a contact number and the number on PayPal for Ourtime is not the correct number and it says, "this number is not recognised" tried it a few times to no avail, so you cannot call them, there is no email address and customer service is unavailable, now it gets worse I have been automatically been charged another £24 for a further week, which I don't want and never requested.This company go out of their way deliberately to make it impossible to cancel. This is clearly deliberate and perhaps verging on illegal, going to report this to Trading Standards. What a rip off, outrageous, scandalous behaviour, hiding being a computer taking, sorry stealing customers money. Clearly a scam of a service. If you are reading this and considering joining this rogue company, my advice is; DON'T as they will clearly, RIP YOU OFF. Their security is beyond acceptable and people are getting hacked after paying them, so again, read the rest of the 95%of extremely alarming bad reviews this company has on Trustpilot, that will surely make your mind up for you. I have never seen a company with so many, ONE STAR reviews. Facebook should be ashamed letting this company advertise on their site, these scammers have no moral compass and I will keep writing bad reviews and escalate a dispute with PayPal.
I should've listened to the reviews. My account was hacked, and customer service did exactly nothing except send me repetitive boilerplate questions in a never ending loop. Before the hack, the service was worthless anyway. I paid for the premium subscription, and 90-95 percent of the messages I sent were never even opened, indicating the population is mostly of inactive or fake profiles. The remaining would send me links to click on it request hookups. Believe people when they say this website sucks!
I joined Ourtime as my first internet dating experience.I decided to pay just for a week as wanted to see if it was for me. It cost £24.99 then I somehow paid 5.99 extra , not sure what for. I started one evening.Anyway, straight away I was getting likes, and messages so very positive Next morning I went to log in and couldn’t, I tried everything but no go so I emailed customer service. No reply so around 6 hours later I tried again. Both times I had an autoreply with different reference. I gave up and tried following day. I had an automated reply saying check spam etc .Day 3 I got in touch with PayPal and started a dispute. Day 4 I got an email saying sorry your account was accidentally deleted, so please continue to log inDay 5 log in , now I can’t get messages etc because I need to pay £19.99 for thisI emailed againNext I get an email from Ourtime saying I didn’t have an account. Then an email from Match.com saying I had two accounts and it wasn’t allowed!I kept emailing who knows who , but as I forwarded all this to PayPal they refunded the £25.99 ( I didn’t bother with the £5.99 as was exhausted!!Worst experience ever. I wish I would’ve looked at reviews first .
I signed up for just a week to test the waters. I gave more than 48 hours notice of my intention to leave (required even if you only sign up for a set period!) but they still took the money for the second week. Dogged determination plus numerous phone calls to my bank and emails to Ourtime (who only ever return with a generic reply telling you how to cancel your subscription) and I eventually got a refund. The site is aimed at more mature people who, like myself, are likely to be less tech savvy. Easy prey!!!
Receive emails for likes that do not show on site. Cannot contact customer service. No phone. Only listings of instructions they think you have problems with. Deleted this useless account. What a waste of time and money. 5-1-2025. This document asks the date, but note this issue has occurred numerous times during this first month of my 6 month contract.
I paid extra for my profile to be viewed at the front of the line, called boosts. But before I could use my 4 remaining ones, they were eliminated from my account for no reason. There is no legitimate customer service number listed anywhere to call Ourtime. so I tried emailing them several times,with them saying they received the messages, but sent me fake solutions totally unrelated to the problem they created for me. This is a ripoff company that steals a clients money, as evidenced in my case and others. They are not to be trusted.
Lying, cheating scam. Not sure how they stay in business. Stay away from this app. The profiles are not real. You get zero customer service, it shuts down often and they make it difficult to cancel. I received a couple messages while in my free trial. When I joined those profiles did not exist. I sent out over 25 messages with no response. It is an illegal site and should be shutdown. I am furious about being taken advantage of. There is very little that is real or legitimate about this site. I got a couple pf messages from women 10 years older than me or 100 pounds heavier. DONT EVEN CONSIDER THIS APP. You'll waste your money.
Absolutely useless dating site all they want is your money they don’t forward your likes or your messages I think it’s a scam, I met a lady in my local park who was also a member we decided to send each other a message and a like and neither of us received; so it’s a money maker not a real introduction site
I joined OurTime in Feb 2025 and have had more issues than I care to admit. I was a previous member back in 2023 and it worked fine. I rejoined back in Feb 2025 and the website is garbage to be honest. I have been in contact with customer service several times which quite frankly is a joke. The system will not let me log in w/o verification and customer service stated there wasn't a telephone number associated with the account but I could not bypass the verification process which required a telephone number!. All of a sudden I was able to open the program by skipping the verification process with a skip button which was on my laptop but not on my mobile app. I accessed the site several times which worked fine on my laptop until I upgraded my account to utilize the full program and receive messages.. I had to upgrade my account to get any real messages, the cost was $108.00 and now I once again cannot get past the verification process on both my laptop or mobile and the skip button is no longer available on the laptop. I once again contacted customer service and have yet to get a response. Oh by the way another cs rep told me there was a phone # associated with the old account however that number was no longer in service. I asked them to change the number and didn't advise how to change the number or do it for me. The communication just stopped. Oh by the was those free message, don't count on them going through or being received. Why is there not a customer service telephone #.
