Review Time
Twice nice over ordered boots and they’ve been out of stock so have had to be sent from a store. First time was fine, sorted out and arrived quickly. 2nd time this week they took several days for it to reach their distribution centre and I heard nothing. No one answered my emails and when I messaged them I got an abrupt response, no greeting and no name of who answered. Poor customer service.
I was told 3-5 days and I think it was 10 in the end, it was 2 presents from my daughters for their mum and it arrived over a week past her birthday, I asked for updates and did not receive any until a few days before it arrived. By then I didnt actually want the product but no one was responding to my emails.
I've purchased numerous pairs of shoes and slippers from a local retailer, particularly from their location near the Garden Centre. The staff consistently provide helpful and friendly service when I'm looking for new footwear, and they always have a great selection available. Honestly, I have no complaints. The staff are absolutely outstanding.
The representative was extremely helpful and provided exactly what I was looking for, as always. I usually buy most of my shoes from this service. Two years ago, I purchased a pair of navy sandals that feel just like slippers. Last year, I got another pair in olive. When I opened my gifts at my daughter's home in Wiltshire this Christmas, I was delighted to find another pair of black sandals—such a wonderful surprise! Outstanding support from the representative, who was very courteous and well-informed about the product. The shoes are of excellent quality and truly comfortable. I initially intended to purchase just one pair, but they were so appealing and comfortable that I ended up buying two pairs.
I ordered the slippers in a standard fit, but they feel more like a wide fit. While I believe I received the correct size, the box they arrived in was actually for a different pair of shoes, so I can't be sure. It's not worth the trouble to return them for a refund since I got them at a discounted price, and the refund would be further reduced by return fees. They'll work if I wear thick socks.
The staff were excellent and very supportive. I opted for the in-box protection since my purchase was leather. However, just two days after the treatment, I got caught in the rain, and the leather did not repel the water at all. It soaked right in. Now, I need to buy a leather protector despite having already paid for the service.
After weeks of waiting for a pair of shoes I ordered online to arrive at my local store, and receiving little assistance from the support team, I tried them on only to find that my size 8 feet wouldn't fit into the size 8 shoes. Even Cinderella would have struggled with them. I had to decline the purchase. I found another pair I liked, which was advertised with an RRP of £75 and a sale price of £34.99, seeming like a great deal. However, it turned out these were actually the full price. Is £75 really the full price, or was that just made up? I'm quite frustrated after spending time and money to visit the store.
I had received the wrong size of boot I ordered through Amazon a pair of pavers blue boot size 11 the paperwork and box stated size 11 but on checking the ‘tongue’ inside the boot it said UK SIZE 10 I contacted Pavers in Bridget’s garden center in Cheshire who asked me to bring the boots in as they had a pair of size 11 in stock. The staff there particularly Gail were exceedingly helpful and as a result exchange the boots for me taking the the wrong sized ones for return. Maybe now with hindsight I should have gone to the pavers store instead of using Amazon. Thank you Pavers.
I have bought these shoes before and visited the local store to determine whether I needed size 9.5 or size 10. Sadly, they didn't have the specific model in stock. The shoes were listed online for £49.00, now reduced to £29.00. The store suggested I order both sizes to find the best fit. After returning home, I placed an order for both pairs. Unfortunately, only the size 10 arrived, and I have been waiting for the other size for about a week, but it still hasn't come. I paid for both pairs online.
