Company only fixed their mistake and doesn't even own up to their mistake. Saw a promo that was still ongoing, and I emailed them regarding a voucher. I didn't hear back from them, so I chatted with their support team instead. They said that my concern has been resolved and I will not receive a voucher because the promo is already over even though I had a screenshot that it was still ongoing. When I looked at the promo again, they changed the status that it ended. How is them fixing the problem on their end resolving my concern when they should have given me a voucher as fast as they fixed it on their end. How can I trust them with my money if the solution only benefits them? To this day it is still under investigation which baffles me because there is nothing to investigate on my end. I gave them evidence that it is still ongoing and a screenshot that I followed the mechanics. It has been more than 20 days, I email Maya on April 1, 2023. When I got fed up with the agent, I asked for a supervisor which was a mistake because she dropped the chat on me. To think the agent handled my concern better than the supervisor. Does he/she even deserve his/her position?
Maya encourages paying all your bills with their product. My 3 monthly bills exceed P8000, for which I pay P160 in fees. While Maya is more convenient, I can pay my bills for much less in fees. Maya should pay me interest on my money in my account, not charge me for putting the money in the account.
INCONVENIENT! Going thru chat they would ask info which I understand as validation is needed. However they seriously don't need to ask for tons of info when 3 or 4 should suffice! They will ask for birthdate, complete name, account balance, place of birth, number of physical cards linked, last 4 digits of card, et. If one is missing, you'll have to start a new chat, go thru prompts and key in all details again. -- And they have the gall to claim "MAYA CARES". Lol. Also found out they CAN'T (or don't want to) send a transcript of the chat. Oh and one more thing, they still have not refunded me for something merchant has refunded several days ago. DISAPPOINTING.
I am a Paymaya user for over a year now and overall? It's not that bad. Surely, they are top 2 in the finance category (Free, obviously) I've been making transactions with them from the smallest amounts to the 1k range and sometimes they do stutter due to server issues and stuff but one or two refreshes like closing the app's task, you can easily log in without further problems. Ofcourse, this review won't be all-angelic for the app. Syempre may downside din. Sometimes the other tabs can't be accessed, even the crypto tab has problems. I'm not that fan naman sa crypto so okay lang and also the Maya support system sometimes has issues regarding with agents and di naman tayo magtitiwala lang sa AI kaya sa CSR talaga tayo lumalapit and even redirecting to them is sometimes a hassle. (Ewan ko nalang kung wala kang pasensya)The UI is very friendly, the app's stylistic looks make it more beautiful but yeah, we all look for performance more than elegance so I hope they do a better job in helping users with their problems via agent inquiries and such.
Dreadful. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. I sent money to this app and it is not until after you send money that you are informed you have to upgrade your account to transfer the money out your account. The upgrade process is the equivalent of banging your head against a wall. I've been declined 3x without being given a reason as to why. There is zero customer service, no support and the app just breaks when I try and upgrade again. 1000php wasted trying this app. Do not use. Stick to GCash instead
DO NOT BOTHER! If you want better customer service or transaction service, DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THIS TRASH APP. Their customer service is POOR, RUBISH and their system are FULL OF HOLES AND GLITCHES. I have given them a chance but TO NO AVAIL THEY GAVE ANY IMPROVEMENT.
they will ask you a million verification question in hopes you get pissed off to drop the call and never update you at all on any thing you want fixing, i thought this was app was gonna make my life easier but it made it much more frustrating and have more delays, more than just a bank... more like less than just a bank
