Worst experience ever. I ordered a dog cooling mat. I knew it was going to take 7 to 14 days and was prepared for that. Once ordered I got confirmation it was shipped from China not from the Netherlands but that was ok for me as long as I would be able to trace the shipping. And that’s when it all went south. Once the parcel reached Belgium there was no way to track the order anymore as no barcode for the subsequent delivery service was ever provided. The latter needs to be done by the vendor not the postal service. Calls to pelsbarn are not answered, chat doesn’t work if it’s not one of the standard questions. And, based on the auto reply, emails have a 3- day turn around time, which is unacceptable knowing parcels get sent back in a week or less when not picked up and tracking is not working. Meanwhile that time frame has passed so the parcel is MIA (supposedly returned to pelsbarn/China) and Pelsbarn has yet to respond to my mail about the tracking. So nothing received, no customer service and hoping I may or may not get money back (I would rather have received the cooling mat). It may have been a good cooling mat but to determine that, I would need to get it first. All my other trust pilot reviews of other companies are positive so I’m usually not a negative Nelly. Luckily summer is almost over and I can try and find a bed elsewhere by next summer!
I placed an order for a car bed on august 1, 2024,I accidentally added a second bed to the order. I realized what I had done and within an hour I asked to cancel the second bed.They responded they were unable to cancel the second bed because it had been sent to the warehouse for processing.I have sent multiple requests to customer service since then, many are rejected. A few sent a response, one gave me directions on requesting a refund which I followed and the response said they did not give refunds.It’s impossible to speak to a representative and the automated customer service is useless and frustrating.The company finally issued a refund for the second bed. As they requested, I donated the second bed to the animal shelter.
The bed I ordered was too small and was poorly made. I mailed it back, filled out the online form. Didn’t get a refund. I didn’t do my return in the proper order, they said. No refund. After arguing online for a week, they agreed to a 30 percent refund. This company is a complete scam.They claim the website is clear about returns. I sent screen caps that showed that wasn’t true. They said they were fixing the website so no one else would be confused.And yet, they act like a 30 percent refund is a noble gesture and that ‘they consider this case closed.’
This cooling bed is great if your pet likes to lounge in the sun, but yet not burn up. I love the longevity of this product. It's going to last my pet for the rest of her life, and be handed down to another pet. That is the best value you could ask for. This cooling pad is very easy to clean in the event it does get dirty. Overall the quality is great, bo holes, no leaks, works well. I feel better that I did this for my dog.
This product is great! My 70lb dog loves it, especially when it's hot. The mat was larger than I anticipated. I have washed it several times and it has held up very well. It's great to throw in the back of the car, or take to the vets. I also use it on top of the dog bed to avoid having to wash the dog bed covers as much - as we all know what a pain in the rear those things are.
This bed is a winner! We’ve tried other styles but our maltipoo didn’t like them because he got too hot. He preferred laying on the floor. I chose to size up on the bed so he could stretch out and he loves it! My pup is a digger and sometimes likes to dig/scratch at his bed. No tears so far. I recommend this bed!
I have a 4 year old who I have tried over 5 different brands of beds. He is obviously very spoiled but what got my attention was my cat. Usually, he wants nothing to do with my dog but since we got this bed, the cat sleeps with him! He seems genuinely content and this was such a good deal that I couldn’t help but try it. Spoiled fur baby approved.
