Ordered the dog car seat and received it about 2 weeks later. It is of poor quality - poorly sewn, cheap looking nylon fur, flimsy straps that do not hold the seat securely in place and minimal padding in the bolster surround. Deeply disappointed and when I asked to return the item, I got an email asking me to supply photos and/or videos of their product. Surely they are familiar with the specifications of their own products and why should I have to supply further evidence of the poor quality? I am not claiming it is defective but simply unacceptable quality for the price therefore I wish to return it for a refund. I am pursuing this and hoping that customer services will let me know how to do this asap. Not happy with the unhelpful response so far. Should have read the TrustPilot reviews before ordering.
I am SO disappointed with the quality of the car seat I ordered for my Cocker Spaniel. It is so poorly manufactured I am wondering if I have bought a fake item!! The clips and fittings are so cheap and flimsy compared to the harness and clips I normally use in the car- they don’t look strong enough to be safe and secure in an accident. I have not been able to upload more than one photo to illustrate this. The fabric described as ‘plush’ looks more like a bad hair transplant-really sparse. The non slip surface does not keep the seat from moving and the attachment strap only works for the top of the seat. You can’t secure the base of the bed unless you attach it to a front seat. Delivery and updates from the company were good -it’s a shame the very poor quality of the product lets it down. I have seen better quality dog beds of a similar fabric in TK Max. If I had seen this seat before I purchased I would not have bought it.
Bought the calming car seats that are anything but. Also the halters. They loosen in minutes so they become unsafe. Dogs pulled MORE with these NO-pull harnesses. Tried immediately to return and they were on sale so no return. Everything is on sale. So disappointed.I have exchanged several emails requesting and justifying a return with Pelsbarn’s customer service regarding the issue with the halters and have been told sorry…there is NO REFUND. Thus I no longer have the halters!
Customer service is very prompt and always very courteous. Our lil pooch, Bruno absolutely loves his new bed. It’s very well made, extremely soft material, beautiful & plush. I have 4 other beds, one in every room but Bruno favours his new Pelsbarn soft bed and he looks so comfortable, like lying on a cloud Happy pooch, Happy mum!
