Review Time
I bought this for my Shih Tzu, who has plenty of smaller beds, but I wanted something larger for her to snuggle into. My other dog keeps trying to steal it, so I bought another one! They both fit in one and love it. Very pleased with both beds!
BUYER BEWARE! Don't fall for the 'sale' to pull you in to buy a car seat, only to find out that when you try to return it within the 30 day return window, that towards the end of a multi-paragraph return policy, it states no returns for sale items (not only final sale items but all sale items). Multiple emails later, customer service just keeps reiterating that they need to have their policies and finally, an offer of a de minimus refund. Hope their precious policies that don't focus on building longterm customers, but rather target the quick hit, don't run them out of business.
I bought a car bed for our dog. When we received it, I immediately realized it was not going to work as the size was too small. I contacted Pelsbarn to see how to exchange the bed and pay for the larger size. I was told they will not do it. Their policy does not allow for that. I will not do business with this company ever again. To bad. I really like the bed.
Absolute scam. The dog car bed is made with material the same as the cheap straw umbrellas you buy for the garden. It’s like rows of fringing, not like the photos on their website. The floor of the bed is one piece of thin material with no padding. The site also boasts free shipping and returns. However on closer inspection regarding returns it states no returns on sale items. So if you’re reading this in the future you will find that ALL their items are on sale ALL the time. So in other words they don’t accept returns. Don’t get caught out. I hope this review helps buyers make an informed choice in the future, not to trust this company.
I spent 131.00 on a dog bed for the car. It doesn’t fit! It slips all over the seat. I am totally dissatisfied with the product. I reached out and they do not take returns on sale items! Glad it was only 131.00 I am losing! I do NOT recommend this company!!!
So far this is not a good experience. I have emailed two different emails listed on their website inquiring about my purchase and status of order. Both have come back undeliverable which makes ne consider this is not a legitimate company. My only recourse is to cancel Payment with my credit card but I wanted to do a review so everyone is aware before choosing to business here. When you get undeliverable message when using the company provided email, something is not right.
I thought I was going to regret this purchase but, nope! Bought it to be a “car seat” for my large cat for an upcoming 12hr drive. I’ve left it in the house to help him adjust. He sleeps in it sometimes and makes “biscuits.” (My cat rarely makes biscuits).
