Review Time
Got my car on December 18th. Podpoint only finally installed yesterday. Was complicated. Painful. Not installed where I asked for it to be and paid an extra £200 for. Lead doesn’t reach far enough now. No instructions on how to use it. Really not a positive experience. Engineer cancelled on the morning of install. I wasted 2 days off work. You’d think they would have back up for emergencies. Poor all round and I would never recommend.
Contacted PodPoint after a solar panel installation to have the pod enabled for charging via the solar system. 15 minute queue on the phone but once through the service provided by Maria was 1st class. System interrogated and updated in 10 minutes and problem resolved.
Customer service is good. I’ve had my Podpoint charger more than 3 years now and I can still ring and get help with any problems (my Solo3 charger kept pausing charging after I had solar panels installed and a phone call resulted in a quick fix - it needed to be reset for solar, which was done remotely)
Getting the appointment booked was stress free and there was good comms when it had to be rescheduled.The engineer who attended my house was friendly and punctual, he completed the setup within a couple of hours and also helped me with the podpoint app synch up. All good report.
I have to say, it would have had 5 stars but part of the problem was the clarity in what was required with the Water Bonding etc, perhaps if you change the questions and ask where the stop tap is would be better and also examples of good pictures of what you require. What I will say today the installation was fabulous, kept me up to date and explained everything clearly with some very useful quick wins.
