We feel very let down with Pod Point…

We feel very let down with Pod Point and we're a new Customer that Haven't even had our installation Yet.I have a new EV Motability Vehicle and before we purchased a charger with Pod Point we asked how long the wait is for installation as our vehicle came a month early. We were told 2 Weeks, today I found out it's a Month which is ridiculous as we Need a charging Point.Now I'm considering cancelling and asking for a Full refund!*As of 24th March, The company have now been in touch and are now installing on Saturday 28th..Thank you

The installer was great

The installer was great. Very friendly, efficient and kept disruptions to an absolute minimum. He worked with me to figure out the best place for the pod. You wuldn't have known he was there as there wasn't any mess left behind. Only negative I do have was he didn't have a surge protector on him and it was part of the job requested. He said I'd be contacted by the team to arrange a date for him to come back. A week later and I've not heard anything - submitted an enquiry today so hopefully be rectified shortly.

Customer service is a joke

Customer service is a joke. My pod point would not connect to WiFi. I called today and the adviser admitted they have a software glitch and then tried to charge me for a repair on their own software. When I asked for a manager they said they dont have any working. I said I don't believe them and refused to hang up and suprise suprise a manager was plucked out of thin air. This company is dishonest expensive and should be avoided.

This charging device and app is a complete noghtmare

This charging app is a complete nightmare and the worst piece of junk I've ever been forced to use! Every single time I need to charge, there are continuous, endless problems that make it impossible to get anything done. I can't even log in half the time – it just spins forever or says my credentials are wrong even though they're correct. And when it finally lets me in? It randomly logs me out mid-session, kicking me back to the start while my car is sitting there doing nothing!When you're in a real rush and need to charge FAST, this app turns into pure torture. It causes nothing but problems, delays, errors, and total frustration – exactly when you need it to work the most! I've wasted hours staring at loading screens, dealing with crashes, and getting zero support. If you want easy, hassle-free charging, DO NOT BUY OR DOWNLOAD THIS APP. It's unreliable garbage that will ruin your day every time. Stay far away and save yourself the headache! Worst app ever. 0 stars, and I'd give negative if I could.

The team were quick to respond to my questions

The team were quick to respond to my questions about the car not charging. They remotely monitored the voltage and explained the issues. They were very helpful and checked on progress re the charging issues. A very helpful service.

PodPoint have cost me over £1000. (See update)

Used the app to pay my deposit in December. It’s now end of March. My charger has still not been installed. This is despite emailing them and several phone calls. Was promised a phone call back that never happened. Apparently now after over 3 months of waiting, they will install it on Tuesday. I’ll update my review if/when they do. Haven’t received any apologies just silence from their customer service team all whilst I’ve been racking up hundreds of pounds a month spent at public chargers. Their delays have cost me over £1000 in charging fees since I first paid my deposit. I would like compensation Update 2.Contractor came to fit whilst I was at work, called me to say he wasn’t going to fit the tethered unit I’d asked for, and then proceeds to fit another type against my wishes and then unknown to me; onto the wrong wall… now I have a unit that protrudes into a public walkway making it difficult to pass without rubbing against the charge cable. It’s just totally illogica… especially bearing mind they ask you to send photos and descriptions of where you want it fitted. I’ve since called 4 times and not had a single reply, just that it’s been escalated to another team. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANYIt’s seems the only people responding are your marketing team who are responding to these messages…so read this and call me to sort this out instead of writing these empty responses to people who have paid good money and waited months in good faith just to be messed around.
