À FUIR (English version if needed below) Si je pouvais ne mettre aucune étoile je l’aurais fait! Par où commencer. J’ai réservé via Skyscanner qui m’a renvoyé sur ce site que je ne connaissais pas et j’ai tenté le coup. Bien mal m’en a pris! J’ai réservé une voiture depuis la France pour un voyage en Europe et j’ai été confronté à plusieurs frais supplémentaires inattendus qui ont fait passer le prix de 131 € à 202,76 €.Premièrement, la voiture fournie était électrique, alors qu’aucune mention claire n’a été faite lors de la réservation. On a proposé de me facturer 80 € de plus pour passer à une voiture essence. Les codes et acronymes utilisés par le site (CCAE, “E”) ne sont pas expliqués, et un client normal n’est pas censé les connaître que ce code et notamment le « E » en fin de code signifie qu’on book une voiture électrique surtout quand la photo montre une voiture thermique!Deuxièmement, le site indiquait que l’assurance et la responsabilité civile étaient incluses, mais j’ai dû payer une couverture de base obligatoire en Europe, ce qui n’était pas précisé et n’aurait pas dû être nécessaire.Enfin, j’ai été facturé pour traverser la frontière Belgique-France, alors que je loue régulièrement à l’aéroport de Bruxelles avec d’autres distributeurs sans jamais avoir eu ce genre de frais supplémentaires, heureusement que nous sommes dans l’union Européenne et l’espace Schengen! Bien entendu, ce supplément n’est pas standard et n’a jamais été mentionné lors de la réservation.En résumé, ce site cache des frais importants et manque de transparence, et le service client ne reconnaît pas clairement les erreurs. Je ne recommande absolument pas ce site et conseille à tout utilisateur de l’éviter à tout prix, sous peine de se voir facturer des frais inattendus! Alors fuyez le. I booked through Skyscanner, which redirected me to this site that I had never heard of, and I decided to give it a try. Big mistake! I booked a car from France for a trip within Europe and was faced with several unexpected extra charges that increased the price from €131 to €202.76.First, the car provided was electric, although no clear mention of this was made during the booking. I was offered the option to pay €80 extra to switch to a petrol car. The codes and acronyms used on the site (CCAE, “E”) are not explained, and a normal customer is not expected to know that the “E” at the end of the code means the car is electric—especially when the photo shows a petrol car!Second, the site stated that insurance and liability coverage were included, but I had to pay for mandatory basic coverage in Europe, which was not disclosed and should not have been necessary.Finally, I was charged an extra fee for crossing the border from Belgium to France, even though I regularly rent cars at Brussels Airport with other providers without ever facing such fees—fortunately we are in the EU and Schengen Area! This extra charge is clearly not standard and was never mentioned at the time of booking.In summary, this site hides significant fees and lacks transparency, and the customer service does not clearly acknowledge mistakes. I absolutely do not recommend this site and advise all users to avoid it at all costs, or risk being charged unexpected fees. Run away from this site!
DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL HAVE PROBLEMS FROM THE BEGINNING. WE CAME IN THE AIRPORT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT OCT 21ST 2025. MY HUSBAND TRIED TO GET A CAR, WHICH I PREVIOUSLY RENTED THROUGH CARLA RENTAL CAR, FROM ANOTHER COMPANY, ROUTES RENTAL CAR. ROUTES RENTAL CAR COMPANY WOULD NOT GIVE US THE CAR BECAUSE OF EXTENDED WARRANTY COVERAGE I HAD ON THE CAR. FOR WHICH I HAD NO PAPERWORK ON IN THE FIRST PLACE. MY HUSBAND WAS LEFT STRANDED AT ROUTES RENTAL CAR AT 2AM IN THE MORNING. I HAD TO RENT A CAR FROM ANOTHER COMPANY. THESE TWO COMPANIES IN MY OPINION ARE ONLY OUT TO TAKE YOUR MONEY. IF YOU RENT A CAR ANYWHERE, DO NOT PAY ANYTHING UPFRONT. THESE TWO COMPANIES ARE THIEVES AND THEY NEED TO NOT GET ANYONE'S BUSINESS AT ALL!!!! GO WITH A REPUTABLE COMPANY!! THESE PEOPLE ARE ANYTHING BUT REPUTABLE, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND WILL NOT REFUND IT AT ALL. YOU COULD BE STRANDED AND STUCK IN A CITY YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT. AGAIN, DO NOT RENT FROM CARLA OR ROUTE RENTAL CAR!!!!
Booked a car, the rental partner had no cars available, but Carla charged me €180.86 anyway. When I asked for my money back, they tried to give me worthless "Carla Cash." Now they are just ignoring me. It's been weeks past their promised deadline and I still don't have my refund. They are thieves. Do not download this app or use their service.
Do not use this company. Both my brother-in-law and I went to pick up car and when we went to desk in Lanzarote they wanted £400 extra when we had paid everything via Carla. My brother-in-law paid it but I refused. £130 was refundable fuel deposit which I would pay but rest was extra insurance or no car. When I showed woman at desk that I had already paid insurance via Carla they said they had no idea and would have to take it up with them. I cancelled order and then requested deposit refund via Carla online for obvious reasons but they refused. Do not use! I have booked many rental cars abroad and never had such a bad experience.
That company shouldn't exist, never feels so scamed. Avoid avoid avoid! They can ruin your holiday. Car booked for 4 oc and we late about 20 min then they say we lost this reservation and money , they offer voucher for refund 75 dollars haha. Hopefully you get for you deserved
Scam. Do not use this BS company in the Middle East. No service only recordings. Fake scam company from the Middle East trying to look like a US company. Fake reviews in Apple Store tells you everything. Google or going to X to see th feedback is all 1 stars and people calling out the scam. Landed at O’Hare and company didn’t exist and all other rentals said they have never see or heard of them and multiple customers experiencing the same. #Scam #thieves
Hired a car through Carla. When I got to the destination the company said that they do not take Carla bookings and I had to book directly with Carla and take it up with them after. The hire cost me a lot more than what I paid Carla. I went back to Carla who did not help me. They have not paid back what I paid them and to date have not recovered any money from their partner. This has left a bad feeling not knowing if if future I will experience the same if I book through Carla . Too many hidden costs that the company dosnt tell you about at the time of booking
