Website says "free cancelation" which means to my understanding 100% refund of the paid amount.Carla understands "free" with 100% refund as "carla credits" or alternatively 50% refund to original payment system only.Cancelation isnot free in both cases as with the credit you'll be bound to take their website again (they skip competition), cancelation cost 50% of the prepayment amount!
Total Scam CompanyBooked including CDW...when I collected the car, I was told that CDW was not included and I had to pay again.Carla agreed it was a mistake and refunded me in Carla Credit - however, this is a nonsense credit note as you can only use it on unneccessary add-on's (First in line, etc) and not on the actual car rental. Pure Scam!
Absolute worst experience with third party car rental company. Beware of hidden costs that are not disclosed by Carla We ended paying more than double what the original booking was meant to be for the car.No empathy or helpful response receiver from Carla in the end Never happened with other third party rentals DO NOT USE CARLA - shady fraudsters
The worst company ever. We booked our car online between 1/01-3-01, the reservation was confirmed and when we reached our destination to receive the car, no one was there. The company charged us already and no one is picking up the phone. The least you can do is to refund us the deposit you requested. Worst company ever, don’t trust them!!!
I recently rented a car through Carla’s application, but my experience turned out to be highly frustrating and disappointing. Due to a mishandling of the credit card transaction by their third-party partner, I was unable to pick up the car. Although the third party admitted their mistake, promptly canceled the reservation, and sent an automated cancellation notice to Carla to process my refund, Carla outright refused to issue it.This lack of accountability and poor customer service reflects a company more interested in holding on to customers’ money than resolving issues fairly and professionally. Despite clear evidence of the error, Carla failed to take responsibility, leaving me feeling disregarded and cheated.I strongly caution others against using their service, as this ordeal highlights the risks of dealing with a company that prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction.
I had a terrible experience with Carla. I prepaid for a car rental through their app, but when I arrived at the rental location, the service was denied because Carla failed to provide critical details like the insurance policy number. Booked online and paid $1990 for fortuner car 7 seater. At the counter the car rental offered me a 5 seater i refused delivery. Carla charged me $2359.00 and now I have 27 email exchanges with their staff seeking 100% refund. They are a scam and do not refund. All customer executives Sean, Diana, eloy,mert are simply finding excuses not to refund you. I have raised a dispute with the bank. Carla did not even have any agreement with the car rental. Carla is just a middle agent with no accountability
My booking number 3231461, like a scams, buy protection plus plan, 24/7 roadside assistance with flexible refund policy. When you actually check in, the dollar rental company said this platform didn't purchase any other extra service and protection insurance for me. When I actually contact Carla and they said I need to purchase premium insurance and peace of mind whatever, they don't really let me cancel with credit, they just ignore you. And end up over charge me $238 USD (3 days rental) in order to get some insurance protection
