I cancelled my reservation on the same day due to extreme bad weather. Once explained the situation, the refused to give the refund. I will never rent from this company again, no importance to their customers.
I initially faced problems with my credit card not going through, so I submitted a new booking. I received an email confirmation, but there were no reservations showing in the app. Then, the system displayed duplicate reservations. Despite multiple calls and emails explaining the situation, and the cancellation of one duplicate by the support team, the service refuses to refund the second $1495 charge. It’s unreasonable for one person to need two cars for the same time and date. I also purchased an additional service, which should allow for cancellations, especially if notified within 24 hours. The reviews indicate that this is a common issue with the service.
This service is a scam! They failed to provide the promised service, and we canceled our booking 1.5 weeks prior to the scheduled pick-up date. According to their policy, we were entitled to a refund, but we never received it! I should have booked directly through the original provider.
This service is a scam! We booked a car for a day from an airport in Ecuador and received a confirmation email indicating that the vehicle was reserved through a partner company. However, upon arrival to pick up the car, there was no record of our booking and no vehicles available. We couldn't reach customer support via messaging or phone, leaving us stranded without a car. I strongly advise against using this service!
I rented a vehicle through the service and was repeatedly prompted in the app to purchase a peace of mind option for an additional fee. I mistakenly clicked to add this option and requested a refund, but they only returned the funds as a credit for the car hire, which I never requested. There was no way to reach them by phone. Eventually, I gave up and canceled my booking. I advise against falling for their tactics; it's better to pay a bit more and rent a car locally.
Extremely dissatisfied – definitely not recommended. We ended up paying almost double the agreed price. During booking, we were told the young driver fee wouldn't apply, yet it was added at pick-up without warning. The €113 deposit we paid was disregarded, and we were forced to pay the full amount again. Later, we received an email stating that this payment was merely a deposit for booking, which was never clearly communicated. The customer service was also terrible; the staff couldn't contact the service provider. After reaching out directly, we were initially promised assistance, only to be later informed that nothing could be done. In summary: poor service, unclear charges, and misleading communication. Definitely not recommended.
We booked a car hire expecting an "airport shuttle" due to our heavy luggage. The representative delayed providing pickup details, and it turned out that getting to the car involved a train and walking. I requested a refund, but they denied it.
The worst experience ever! I really needed a car due to issues with mine, so I rented one using my last funds. After booking, I was informed that I needed to pay a £200 deposit and show my valid driving license. I had borrowed money but didn't physically have my license because it was stolen. A photo of my license wasn't accepted, and I left in tears. I had hoped for a refund or at least a partial refund, as I wouldn't have booked if I knew I had to show my license in person.
Avoid this service at all costs. They promise one thing and deliver the opposite. I was assured by a representative that I would receive a full refund, but when I followed up, they hid behind their policies and refused to return even the unused insurance. It’s shocking how little integrity this company has. If this is how they treat loyal customers, I can only imagine how they handle others. I will never use their service again and will warn others about their practices.
Absolutely unacceptable. I will escalate this issue further. Upon arrival in Turkey, my personal information was shared with a third party without my consent, violating data protection policies. I was almost physically assaulted, and the customer service was dreadful, providing no assistance despite my repeated requests for a formal complaint process. They endangered my life by disclosing my details to abusive individuals, putting me in a situation where I felt coerced. I will be bringing this matter to the Ombudsman because, despite my numerous requests for help, I received none.
