Visited Richard f McKay to look at stressless reclining chair. The sales man Kevin was very helpful and knowledgeable about the product and took the time to show me each product and select the right chair for my needs.The chair was delivered earlier than expected and delivery was excellent. As the chair was powered, it was installed and checked and also I was shown how to control it. My old sofa was also taken away at the same time at no extra cost.Simply brilliant thank you
Initially we had excellent service when buying our Ercol sofas but when they arrived on time 13 weeks later, one sofa was the wrong colour. After discussions by phone the company agreed to pay £200 compensation as soon as we got the new sofa and they picked up the wrong one. We waited again for a similar length of time (no fast tracking errors) and finally had our order correct. Getting our cheque was more problematic. Apparently the director doesn’t like signing cheques. After many more phone calls and promises over the next few weeks a cheque for only £150 rather than £200 arrived. When we called our contact to say there had been a mistake he said ‘he couldn’t remember what had been agreed’ Why ruin a customers trust and patience?
Just had a new kitchen fitted which was designed by Lynsay at Richard F McKay . She has managed to make the galley kitchen feel twice as big with far more storage and the quality units are exceptional. Her help and advice was invaluable in all aspects of the design process. Jordan ,Jack and Robert , the fitting team were polite well mannered and perfectionists at their work , going over and above to please.The whole experience including the best delivery drivers in town is up to the usual standard that We expect from a family firm and would have no hesitation in recommending their service

We recently had the pleasure of shopping at Richard Mackay Edinburgh, and I cannot praise enough the outstanding service provided by the store manager, Jason. This morning we had 2 Sofas & a Sofa bed delivered and assembled by Murray & Steven to the most professional standardOur existing 2 sofas were taken away even thought they had to dismantle 1 to get it out, without any complaints.In & out and all away within 1 hourThe lads are a credit to the company
Took delivery this morning of new mattresses from Richard F Mackay. Their attention to detail has been exemplary from the patience of the sales assistant, Holly, to the care and cheerful courtesy of the delivery men, Dale & Stephen. The office helped with arranging a delivery day to suit and advanced warning of a 2 hour time slot. Good service seems no problem to this company.
Excellent service from Hollie Ure. Patient, very well-informed, considerate. Gave customer plenty of space to consider options and make decisions. Admin very smooth and prompt. Delivery remarkably quick (Apologies - can't remember names of the two gentlemen who delivered order). Today (25th) excellent prompt delivery and fitting of modfication to chair by Neil. Can't praise them all too highly. I'd happily recommend this company.
