Looking for a new kitchen? Then look no further. We had a quote from Wren, who were overpriced. We are so glad we didn’t order from them as friends have had issues with damaged units and lengthy waits to rectify problem and they are nowhere no near the high quality of Richard F Mackay’s German built kitchens. We are absolutely delighted with the service we received from Danny who assisted us with from start to finish including kitchen planning and costs, also taking into consideration our tight budget, his expertise shone through. We also used their fitters who completed the work within a week, they were very organised and did a great job. Nothing was any trouble from start to finish. Absolutely fantastic service from Jason and his team, from the initial visit to their store the knowledge and understanding of our requirements matching our needs and the superb selection of products. We were kept informed of the usual manufacturers delays and when the products arrived into their warehouse we were called the same day and the delivery was arranged for the next day. On that day we were informed of when the delivery would arrive and the team did a fantastic job of removing our existing and installing the new sofas with a lot of respect for my wife by fully explaining and demonstrating the product. I would recommend buying from this company as I have everything positive to say about them and I re visit for future purchases

We have just purchased new lounge sofas and bedroom furniture from Richard F Mackay in Edinburgh.The showroom is excellent, and we were guided through all the options by Jason. He listened carefully and understood our requirements to a tee. We found the whole experience very enjoyable and must commend Jason on his first-class product knowledge and attention to detail. Altogether extremely refreshing for a normally not too keen shopper.

Hollies approached us as we entered the store. Offered us tea or coffee,and asked how she could assist us. We were then directed to the correct part of the store. And left us in peace to browse a out. When we found a suite she was very knowledgeable of the product. We bought a suite from Hollie she made it so pleasant a credit to the company. Buy Hollie you were great so thanks.
Ordered 2 sofas in Jan, chosen after a long search for the right fabric. Paid nearly£1K deposit. Very long story over many months, fabric not available but they told us to go to Sofolgy. Asked for deposit back, they were unable to put refund on original card, had to wait over 2 wks for a cheque signed by a director in August. Disappointing tale of promised phone calls that never came. The phone call that did come was from a member of staff hassling us to choose another fabric.
We ordered a carpet from Richard F Mackays. Previously we had ordered it from John Lewis but their fitting reviews were so bad we took cold fee! JL was cheaper than RFM but RFM agreed to match their price which we though was excellent. We'd had a flood in our loft which necessitated the ceiling etc coming down wall stripped and replastered etc. and there were huge delays but it was no problem for Scott Gillies who kept in touch and assured us the carpet was there when we were ready. Eventually we were ready and everything went so smoothly. The fitting by Dom Finn and his partner was exemplary and overall it was a great shopping experience. We have shopped there before and we will shop there again. Well done to RFM, Scott Gillies and Dom Finn!
