Terrible experience from the start

Terrible experience from the start. I’ve been with rise now for nearly 4 months and have nothing but issues. The pre go live comms were terrible and I had to do all the chasing as I didn’t know where I was with the order. Since being connected, the speeds have been nothing like what I was promised and I’ve tried multiple attempts to contact customer support and failed to get help every time. I even resorted to raising a complaint which was ignored for over a month. I then reluctantly had to chase and was told I would be offered support but again didn’t get any help (surprise!) and chased again to be told I could cancel but I would be charged a cancellation fee. The experience from ordering to getting started to ongoing usage and support has been nothing but shambles. HIGHLY UNRECOMMENDED!

Stay away, do not get rise fibre

Well its been a train wreck from day one, should of seen the warning signs but wanted faster broadband so gave them the benefit of the doubt. Called them once it was working regarding the speed of my service and I wasn't even getting 700mb (2300mb service) that I'd been doing regular speed tests over multiple test sites over the last 4 days using both wifi and wired services (cat6) I had used there 4th utilities speed test, Cisco test site both wifi and wired, plus xbox and play station both of which are wired. I did the speed test 3 times a day making sure to get peak and non peak, the maximum speed I got was 695mb and the slowest was 96mb (far cry from 2300mb) when I gave this information the person I spoke to said they wanted to do a speed test which is fair enough. Did it over the wifi which came to 711mb. I was then told thats fine as its over 20% when trying to explain that the wired speeds were no where near 50% of the advertised speeds, I basically got told its fine and that its my setup thats the issue. Even though for 24 months with virgin my service never dropped below 1000mb and I was paying for 1gig broadband. So here are a few things that I've had issues with.When choosing rise they changed the installation dateWhen installed it didn't work then had to wait for them to come out and sort it Their customer service is near impossible to get hold of The advertised speed is no where near the speed you'll get ( I've been getting 30% of the speed) Even with it being fibre the service was up and down would lose service multiple times (not great if you're a gamer) The equipment they give is rubbish, changing said, passwords is extremely difficult.And when you speak to someone they lie or try and gaslight you.Will be cancelling as I'm in my 14 day cooling off period, stay away
