I haven’t bought all that much from Ruby Lane, but when I have it was easy to work with the sellers by email. They were all responsive to questions within a short amount of time. Paying using PayPal is always easy. I appreciated the feedback regarding the sale & shipping from the seller afterward.
I love Ruby Lane, but I did run into a dealer who turned out not to have in her possession the pricey item I was using layaway to buy. Sellers like this should be banned from the site in my opinion. Actually it happened a second time. Not a layaway and it took forever to get my money back.
I ordered a necklace that was on Ruby Lane site. My credit card is charged. The very next morning without an email or any notice the purchase was canceled. No reason why. I reached out to the buyer this afternoon. And he replied very sorry for the inconvenience. This item sold over a month ago not sure how it got on the site. So now I’m curious if my credit card will be reimbursed and exactly how does this happen? We will see if I get my money back and how long it takes because the purchase took a matter of seconds so no I am not happy with Ruby Lane website.
