I don't like that Ruby Lane doesn't seem to track well on when their sellers have discontinued or closed their shops. I had to file a fraud complaint earlier this year to get my money back for an item I ordered from a shop that was apparently not in business anymore on RL. I also don't like that vendors are allowed to treat customers badly. During the past 3 years, I've had 3 difficult, rather nasty dealings with several RL vendors. I don't appreciate a vendor who censors me because I didn't respond in a timely fashion to their email - really?! I just found that I was being censored by an RL vendor to purchase an inexpensive item. I've never purchased anything from this vendor before, not sure what the problem is! But that's OK, I found & purchased a much nicer version of the same type of item from another vendor!
Once the vendor and I had agreed on a price, it was very easy to make the purchase. I was especially thankful that Ruby Lane had agreed in advance to honor 10% off. The only thing I can think of to improve the experience is to NOT cancel that offer within two hours of placing the item in one's cart. There are NUMEROUS legitimate reasons why most people cannot honor that time frame; in my case, it was a matter of getting more input from the seller about the materials used in the item BEFORE I made the purchase. Your vendor has consistently been above board i.e. you can trust her to answer truthfully. I KNOW that what I see is what I will get.
