I have a shark cordless anti hair wrap hoover for nearly 3 years now. I have a great experience with this item. At one point base was not rotating spoke with customer service and received a replacement and it was nearly a year ago. Shark is extremely excellent brand and very reliable product.
I bought a Shark cordless- it was faulty so Shark replaced it and I received a 2 year warranty which was fine. It has been running well but it's just out of warranty and malfunctioning. Discussed with Shark who told me to replace the handset - went to order it only to discover that the handset (£69-99) only has a 30 day warranty! If there is a problem after 30 days it's just tough. If I replaced everything then that would be fine - 2 years warranty but a handset...30 days? I've not experienced this before with anyone and my confidence in Shark has fallen to the level of the many reviews I am now reading. Really disappointing!
I've had my cleaner a few months now and have to say it the worst vacuum I've ever brought.Turn on a fully charged battery for it to immediately drop to half level. Only thing keeping dirt in cleaner is a flap of rubber which drops everything back out. The filter is continually blocked. Brought this to make life easier this failed.
On 3rd replacement Hoover . Well what can I say apart from here we go again having to send it back to get another replacement that will only last 4 months without something going wrong . Customer service depending on who you get can be extremely helpful or extremely the opposite . Was told we’ve had our Hoover since 2018 well that could be correct as that was the first until I purchased the Strattos and since then we’ve had many more replacements. 31/12/2024 was the last replacement and now I’m again waiting on another . I would recommend you avoid buying a shark
I wouldn't touch another Skark vacuum if they gave it to me for free. Purchased a cordless pet vacuum less than a year ago. Within 4 months the main centre arm broke at the pivot joint. Customer service said that it was not covered by the warranty, but out of good will would replace it. Brilliant service I thought! The replacement part has also broken within 4 months. This time customer service did not want to know. It is poorly manufactured, cheap crap as far as I am concerned. Stay well away. Although expensive, i am going back to the Dyson which lasted for years and did a much better job.
The vacuum clearer was OK, but the battery life was too short for our medium-sized house, so we decided to buy an additional battery to use when the original one was running out. My wife phoned customer services and ordered another battery, paying by debit card. This was accepted, payment was taken and confirmation sent by email. Within hours, another email arrived saying the order had been cancelled, and the money would be repaid in 7-10 days. No reason was given, and there was a strong message to say that they were not prepared to give any explanation. BEWARE
Bought our Shark cordless two months ago. It really has to be the very worst cleaner we have ever bought (in 51 years of marriage that is a lot of cleaners). Unless dirt is not much larger than a crumb it doesn't pick up. On pet hair it is useless. It leaves a white line on my very short pile rug when pulling back and no amount of Shark's suggested cleaning routine will fix it. I still have to physically pick small bits off the floor after I have gone over rugs and carpet with the Shark. It takes weekly maintenance regarding the cannister and filters. Never, ever would I touch one of those again. We are already seriously considering going back to my usual make which has never let us down (except for when it was old and worn out).
This is hands down the worst vacuum I have ever used, it’s been disappointing since the very beginning. It barely picks anything up, it frequently dumps a load of of its contents on the floor when we’re about to use it or store it somewhere, the suction is nonexistent, we constantly have to take it apart to try and get it to work and the battery is rubbish, it doesn’t do the whole house and constantly over heats so you have to wait hours for it to recharge. It definitely is not “anti hair” I would not recommend this vacuum to anyone. I never thought I’d miss a Henry so much!
