I wish there were 0 stars. Started out by never getting a confirmation email so I used the chat. She gave me a pdf invoice which I thought was weird, why could they not give me a new confirmation email? It had my size wrong when I know I ordered a 12 and it said I ordered a 16 on the invoice. I told Angelina in the chat it was the wrong size and I ordered a 12 not 16. She literally responded “here’s our size guide you should check that before you order” I DIDNT ORDER THE WRONG SIZE!!!! Then I asked her if I could just cancel the order and be refunded and she said someone would have to reach out to me on Monday and won’t tell me how they are reaching out. I’ve read they only do in store credit which is a scam and completely ridiculous. Also, every time they respond to someone on this forum it’s the same response. A bot, and all the positive comments are bots too. SCAM SCAM SCAM STAY AWAY!! Mad I fell for this company.
The Service at Showpo is superb! The online chat feature is extremely helpful and makes things quick and easy. I am also in love with this online store! The styles, the fits, the endless amounts of options is what keeps bringing me back for more! I could not recommend Showpo enough!!
I have found it a difficult process for someone to get back to me. I have sent two emails and wrote to them on Facebook messenger and have had no reply. I have made a return but still have not received the return label on email. I was also never issued a confirmation purchase email.
Unlike most other online retailers, Showpo don’t give refunds but rather store credits if you have to return an item.My first ever purchase was a backless dress that was actually see through at the bodice. Their text description did say no lining however their studio lighting and photo editing did not show this reality. So I purchased in good faith. Online right - so how can I see the quality until it arrives? It’s false advertising!I don’t want to purchase poor quality items so want my money back not a store credit. Not possible. Their customer service said they were “super sorry” and “could I take a photo of the problem?”. Ok sure, let me get the dress back, that I’ve already returned to you, so you can see my breasts through the material?In Feb 2021, they are offering refunds. So I contact them but no, still won't give me refund as it "only applies to returns in February". So ridiculous.Overall a terrible first experience. I don’t want to have to deal with them again but alas, I have this stupid store credit. So annoying and disappointing.I don’t recommend shopping with them when there are so many better online retailers around who refund no questions asked.
These past experiences have really deterred me from wanting to order from this site again. The first time I ordered, I had a good experience, but had to return something which resulted in me having store credit. I tried to purchase something a few months later with some store credit, but was charged twice for the same order, and did not receive a confirmation e-mail. I contacted CS and they resolved the issue for me. I asked if my store credit would be refunded, and they said yes. Checked my account a few days later, and it is not there. I had to contact CS AGAIN, to get them to put it back in my account. I took a long hiatus, and decided to order again two weeks ago. My order was already supposed to come in, but somehow got redirected to NZ, and I did not receive any notice of this until I contacted CS. My order is going to take a month to get here, and my last update was that it left AU weeks ago. Disappointed. I would not shop here again if it wasn't for the store credit.
