I bought a Skoda from Bristo's in Ipswich. The car was ok but the level of service from the salesman was not.The car was not clean when I collected it and the handover was rushed. He then asked me to complete the online survey and that anything less than 5 stars was classed as a failure. I told him I was not going to give 5 stars due to the cleanliness and the rushed handover. He invited me to come back to have the car re-cleaned and go over any questions I had about the car that were not covered on the initial handover. The same car cleaner cleaned the car to the same poor standard as before and the salesman did not have the time to go over my questions about the car..I went to complete the online survey but the link had been removed because they knew they were not going to get the 5 stars they wanted. Not great service at all so I'll be requesting a different salesperson if I decide to use this dealership again...
Ordered an Elroq on 1/2/25.. finally arrived at dealership on 12/4/25 since then trying to collect the car... because Skoda stopped the 3 year IFC and £3500 allowance pcp deal they are now dragging out the order and not allowing the dealer to proceed and complete the sale hoping I will cancel and save them money ........I WILL NOT CANCEL SKODA!!! I have a bill of sale paid my deposit and I want my car!! Your company messed up on your promotion not me and I will take you to court for misselling if necessary
I have a model with the 360 cameras.. they are really useless: showing item being extremely close when there is in fact a large amount of space. I called the customer service to get some help but they told me to look at the manual. Than I called a dealer who said any check cost £250. And they're not even sure to see if there is an issue. I will not buy Skoda again
Leased an Enyaq Sport 85x in March this year. Brilliant car, fast comfortable, easy to drive, excellent range, fast charge. Easily matches the Kia EV 6 that I leased previously. My only criticism is the Skoda support. Within one week of taking delivery the right wing sprang at the seam behind the lights pod. There is absolutely no evidence of any damage or contact that would have caused this and this has been confirmed by the maintenance manager at the local dealer. I have complained to Skoda Warrenty and they told me to get a report from the garage. I have requested this report several times and nothing has appeared and no one at Skoda seems to give a damn. This is not customer care. It is customer could not careless. I shall now get it repaired my self and send the invoice to Skoda and then take them to court if they do not honour their warranty.
I simply cannot believe that after selling the last of our vehicles (always accompanied with lousy customer care) that I find I am still being hassled by Skoda/Group1. Their customer uncaring provides a lasting hangover. Despite taking a monthly all-in plan, despite the specific assurances of the local person who sold it to me, despite having sold my vehicle, I find myself hassled for service plan payment more than FIVE WEEKS after I sold the vehicle. It is extraordinary to think that such a void of basic customer care exists.
