Villa Polymnia Kefalonia.Large villa with great outdoor space and great 15m pool. Villa itself was tatty, in need of refurb and not worth the cost. EVERYTHING needed to be replaced, outside and inside furniture either broken or very tired. A/C a health hazard and caused allergic reaction in one of our party so we stopped use, presumably in need of maintenance but like everything else not maintained.Luckily temperature wasn't too high during our stay. Solmar eventually gave part refund - we'd have preferred accommodation to be fit for use. A shame.
We discovered Menorca several years ago and for the last several years we have acquired a rental thru Solmar Villas. Our rentals have varied some better than others but what has been a constant is the quality of service we received from Solmar. Wonderful staff and professional response to any issue we might have had!
Our stay at Villa Melvin in May was nothing short of spectacular. The villa itself was a dream – spacious, beautifully maintained. Highlights included the home pool table, the large living room perfect for relaxing together, and a dining table fit for a king or queen.We did encounter a couple of minor issues during our stay, but the service team was excellent. Grace from the helpline was quick to respond, and Steve the area manager sorted everything out smoothly, ensuring our holiday continued without a hitch. Overall, Villa Melvin offered the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and attentive support. We left with wonderful memories and would happily return – highly recommended!
Have just returned from Solmar Villa Gabriela in Menorca Amazing Villa everything as stated on.line Pool cleaned every day Cleaner and towel change No pool towels but a quick phone call and they were there within the hour Would recommend this company Thank you Solmar for a amazing holiday
Booked through this company for Majorca Villa Can Papalaya in Pollença Let me just say absolutely the worst Villa I have ever stayed in, Villa is run down and very old and I would say needs a complete remodel Showers fittings were useless and upside down which caused all the floors to get soaked. And you could only use bathroom at a time as the other shower would be cold The villa was dirty on arrival, the bin in the kitchen had not been emptied, the single beds in the bedrooms kept on falling over as they were just on blocks of wood, the pool light was floating in the pool, the doors didn’t lock so villa was open all the time Do not book this villa
First and last time booking with Solmar villas!!! Inaccurate description of villa.... off-road parking was a very small garage! ...not good with a large SUV!Villas was very dated.....dirty.....leaking washing machine....broken tiles (resulting in a bit of tile stuck in foot!)...pool leaking water....nothing to cook with.....beds very hard and uncomfortable...lead missing from dvd player....ants all over kitchen when we arrived.This was in the first 48 hours. Location was awful...nowhere near the resort....actually nearly 15kms away from the resort via an extremely busy duel carriageway.We asked to be moved.....that took so many days to get an answer....it wasn't worth it in the end! We were looking at booking with them again next year for a month....but I am so shocked by their treatment of us....I won't bother.Although the area reps and the owner were nice....the powers that be in the company are more interested in making money than looking after clients.Don't waste your money!
Booked la pinta villa cala d`or 23/05/25 7 days pool was dirty green slime on tiles pool man cleaned it with rubbing tiles with dirty towel kneeling on side of pool.The green slime went back into pool as he rinsed out the towel in pool. Shower in bathroom rubber seal broken with age bathroom flooded due to this.
I've used Solmar Villas multiple times and stayed at some fantastic villas!I stayed at Villa Elegio in May and had an excellent experience. The villa itself was beautiful, spacious, and very well maintained, with great facilities that made the stay comfortable and relaxing. The owner and Villa Manager were fantastic, helpful and attentive throughout. A thoughtful welcome pack was waiting for us on arrival, which was a lovely touch and set the tone for the holiday. Everything was exactly as described, and the booking process with Solmar Villas was smooth from start to finish.I’ve had another fantastic experience with Solmar Villas, staying at Villa Julia and Villa Beverley Hills in September for a family holiday. Both villas were exceptional, with stunning locations and amazing views that made the holiday truly memorable.Villa Julia was beautifully presented and included a welcome pack on arrival, which was a thoughtful touch and very much appreciated. Everything was clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described.Villa Beverley Hills was impressive and another level. With a beautiful, large infinity swimming pool that became the highlight of our stay. The villa offered plenty of space and comfort, and the setting was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery.Solmar Villas delivered a smooth and professional booking process, and all three properties exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend Solmar Villas for anyone looking for a quality villa holiday. The 24/7 helpline was a great benefit as we did get lost finding the first villa, but the team got us back on track! I’ll definitely book with them again!
