Review Time
Incredibly poor communication. Ordered a heat deflector around a month ago. Given a tracking link that didn't work. Multiple emails sent to be told it is coming but nothing has arrived. I have had to file a dispute with my bank. Can't find a phone number to call them in Australia either. Highly dodgy. Avoid at all costs.
Excellent product as far as how it works, but after 3 years the “floor, with all the holes in it” sunk from the heat and eventually touched and flattened out against the floor below it. Now the feeding air gets restricted and is as smoky as a regular open firepit. I tried so many different methods to pull the floor up. Kind of expensive to buy one every 3 years. Eventually threw it out. I use my regular firepit. So I take a quick shower after if I need to. Most of the time I make does with no wind, smoke goes straight up and don’t have a smoke issue.

I disliked that the packaging of this unit shows, bigger than day, DUAL FUEL! Nice big pictures of just that on one side of the box. Another side shows someone pulling a beautiful pizza from the oven. On another there are small circles that even have one saying dual fuel. On the back, at the very bottom it shows what's included and it does not show the gas hookup unit that you must pay another $150.00 dollars for to actually get the dual fuel. I did not hear on the website that that is an accessory either. So yes, disappointed with that aspect. The quality, of what was included, is very nice. This will be my mother-inlaws last birthday gift to her son. I kid you not, SHE IS 95! She was not happy to pay nearly $400.00 for something she thought WAS DUAl FUEL. This was an item ordered through the Military Exchange by someone else and never picked up. I guess that should have been a hint. My husband thinks it is good quality, and of course said so to his mother. We are on the fence of wanting to take it back.

The company knowingly and deliberately takes orders that it knows it cannot fulfil. You will notice if you shop using their website which I don’t recommend, no indication whatsoever is given in terms of how or when items will be delivered or whether or not they are in stock. Their products are good, but I wouldn’t dream of purchasing directly from them again.

Appalling quality and a refusal to step in and help.Really disappointed . I have purchased a lot of their products almost all of which were without issue.Last June, I purchased a brand new , boxed pizza oven from EBay. I did not know it wasn’t an official solo stove stockist .Anyway, the oven after a few uses has started to fall apart internally. I put in a request against their lifetime warranty . They are refusing to help me because although I can show the eBay transaction the person I brought it from wasn’t an official stockist / he had purchased from Costco which are an official stockist ! I’m astounded and bitterly disappointed with Solo Stove and unless they change their mind I will stop recommending them and I will never purchase again. This would cost them £20 to replace but for me £400. Poor and shocking service , totally unexpected. It’s clearly their product and not a copy and clearly it’s a faulty one. Don’t be fooled by their marketing / their pizza oven is not fit for purpose.
