Using the Yukon in winter

I bought the Yukon to use over the Xmas period. I was unsure on two fronts. Firstly whether it would be truly smokeless and secondly whether it would kick out enough heat to be used in winter. I've now had two outdoor gatherings, one at air temp. 8 degrees C and at a chilly minus 2 degrees C. The Yukon performed brilliantly on both occasions keeping my guests warm. It was also virtually smoke free even when I piled damp wood on it. It looks great in the garden with the lid on and is stylishly designed. It's been a great buy. Yes a touch expensive but from my point of view definitely worth it. The longevity appears to be sound. I will be adding accessories in time but even now as the basic pit it's great.

Solo Stove Customer service not good

Fed Ex lost the shipment, did not make it to me, called customer service. The response from the agent was, well its on FedEx, we will have to make a claim, didn't care when or how long it would take to get product to me, wasn't his problem was the attitude, not tje words but the attitude was. I had to request them to send a replacement, was not offered, I had to make suggestions til he was satisfied, not the worst customer service, but man, far from good

Terrible experience

Terrible experience, once you’ve paid your money they really couldn’t care whether you receive a parcel or not. Don’t buy route protection it’s a rip off, which I didn’t realise until afterwards, it results in you needing to do more work to actually become an owner of their products. Also it’s unnecessary in the uk, as it’s the sellers legal responsibility to sort issues with your delivery, the route protection flips that and makes you need to do all the chasing. Product might be brilliant but prepare for the pain of trying to get it. Wouldn’t buy from them again.

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with Solo Stove’s customer service. Over the past three days, I have been repeatedly lied to and given false promises regarding my order. Despite my numerous attempts to resolve the issue, their representatives have been unhelpful, dismissive, and completely indifferent to my concerns. It is abundantly clear that Solo Stove does not care about their customers' needs or satisfaction. I urge potential buyers to beware and do thorough research before purchasing from this company. Solo Stove's lack of integrity and poor customer service are unacceptable. I expected much better from a company with their reputation. I will certainly not be recommending Solo Stove to anyone in the future.

Very poor customer service

I orderred some Items to my Home in Italy, I had several email exchanges checking they had the correct address. However I waiting home to take delivery which didn't happen. After many emails they said UPS lost the package. I asked for a refund to which they said I should claim on the insurance. I explained that claiming on insurance is not satisfactory. The laws in the EU clearly states that they are responsible until the package has been delivered. They went ahead and refunded me minus the insurance premium.I have contacted them and said it is not acceptable to which they promised to refund the shortfall. That was 3 weeks ago and nothing. I have chased several times and they are not responding.Please be aware that their service is very poor when something goes wrong.
