The experience at the local branch was truly disappointing. The optician made significant errors during my eye test, prescribing glasses based on incorrect measurements, which caused me dizziness. Despite this clear mistake, there was no refund or apology offered; instead, I was told that eye measurements could be subjective. This reasoning is baffling when precision is crucial for customer comfort. Such poor service and lack of accountability are unacceptable. The manager I spoke with did not assist me and instead dismissed my concerns.
I initially left a bad review but want to change my stance! After returning to the shop, I encountered a staff member who was incredibly helpful and understanding. I regret my previous comments as they were based on a single negative experience.

Only giving 2 stars because the guys who did the eye test were great, otherwise would be 0 out of 5 if I could. The sales people were pushy until I said I can’t actually have contacts, then they just completely ignored my existence. I went in another time to a different branch to have the arms of my new glasses reshaped and they managed to skip my name on the list, so I waited 45 mins to be seen for 2 mins. And now, my new glasses have snapped!! Never in 20 years of glasses has this happened, and I wasn’t doing ANYTHING. I took off my jumper, and they snapped right across the bridge! Absolute piece of rubbish and not worth the money at all. I will not be returning.
