I found the staff's greeting quite odd. Instead of a warm "Good Morning" or "Good Afternoon, how can I assist you?" I was met with "Are you alright?" upon entering the store. It felt strange. Additionally, there was a lot of back and forth between different areas, which was confusing. The optician who performed my eye test was satisfactory. However, the assistant who helped me select new glasses was patient and thorough in checking the fit and style. As a pensioner conscious of my budget, I aimed to find a pair that was both affordable and attractive. She was very supportive. I returned the following week because I was having difficulty adjusting to the varifocal lenses. I'll keep trying to get used to them.
The local optician provided an outstanding experience from the eye test to collecting my glasses. Each member of the team contributed to a fantastic overall service. I genuinely can't recall any negatives, only positives. The prices for the glasses were quite reasonable as well—if all businesses operated with such efficiency and care, there would certainly be more smiles in the world.
I got to my appointment on time, but the receptionist assisted the customer ahead of me and didn’t return. (That customer was late for their appointment.) There was no one at the reception to check in with. When a staff member finally appeared, another customer complained about being overlooked and was attended to first. Once I was checked in, now 10 minutes past my appointment time, I was led to a booth and told someone would be with me shortly. After another 20 minutes... If I hadn’t been picking up glasses I had already paid for, I would have left. The staff were friendly and accommodating, but the timing was a significant issue.
Arrived on schedule, received a warm greeting, waited no longer than 10 minutes, everything was handled quickly, no problems encountered, and all details were explained clearly. The team was consistently polite, patient, and helpful. I will keep choosing this service for my eye care needs. 🤓😃👍
The service provided was exceptional from the very beginning. They coordinated well with the hospital consultant, and now I only need reading glasses after having both cataracts operated on. I had varifocal lenses for many years, but now my eyesight is clearer than ever. A heartfelt thank you to the consultant and the team for their outstanding work.
I’ve had an extremely disappointing experience with the service. For the last five months, I’ve been struggling with constant headaches and eye strain due to being provided with incorrect prescriptions multiple times. Initially, I received a prescription that was wrong, and I wore those glasses for about three months, enduring persistent headaches. When I finally reached out, they acknowledged the mistake and provided a revised prescription. Sadly, after using the revised prescription for another two months, I faced the same issues. I contacted them again, and it took significant effort to convey that the updated prescription was still incorrect. After another eye test, they confirmed that the second prescription was also wrong and have now issued a third revised prescription this week. Never again with this service.
Appointments were kept on schedule, and the results of the examination were explained with kindness and clarity. The representative who assisted me with my new glasses, including frames and lenses, was incredibly charming. He was so persuasive that I ended up spending extra on upgraded varifocals. I did manage to resist his charm regarding polarising lenses for my sunglasses, but only time will reveal the outcome of that decision!
