I usually give you 5 stars ; this time I had been given the wrong information about glasses 3 times with different people needing 3 visits before collection and finally, different glasses But all was well, and the manager sorted it all out with calmness and promptness so thank you to her.
Evie at the St Annes branch was extremely helpful and listened to a concern I had over glasses , she was so helpful,an absolute credit to Specsavers ,while I was waiting for my appointment I observed how busy this branch is and noticed all the members of staff were really pleasant and helpful to customers ,if you need a new pair of glasses from seeing the optician to ordering new they are extremely quick to supply you with your new onesI definitely would recommend this branch
The company is guilty of being snobs against NHS users.. I had to wait a week so they could get the extra cheap and fattest glass ordered and I’ve gone back to my shop bought reading glasses as these don’t give me headaches.. I assumed I’d get used to the glasses but they obviously have got the prescription wrong.. I’m not sure I can trust them to test my eyes properly but I know I wont use them for my glasses in the future..
Arrived in plenty of time for my appointment, on arrival everything was fine but when I went in for my actual eye test everything was rushed, flicking through the reading charts very fast not giving me time to fully focus and decide which letters was clearer, the next thing I new a young lady came in the room and asked me to follow her to choose some new glasses.At this point I asked her if my eyesight had deteriorated as I was told absolutely nothing whilst having my eyesight test, after looking at the piece of paper that had been handed to her she said yes it had deteriorated and left me to choose my new glasses, which I didn’t mind as she gave me time to have a look and choose a pair but to be honest I just choose a basic pair similar to what I already had as I just wanted to get out of there as I felt like I was an inconvenience, in hindsight I should have just taken my prescription and gone elsewhere for my new glasses.This is my fourth time visiting Spec Savers and I can safely say it will be my last time, never had this issue with them before and I have always gone to the same branch ( willow Brook Centre, Bradley Stoke) when my next test is due I will definitely be going elsewhere.
