Review Time
Had an eye test and ordered 2 Pairs of glasses, all went well until collection! I couldn't read with them, the prescription was all wrong! I was told it'll all be grand, they'd send them back to be redone and that they knew what the issue was, fast forward to 1 month after my first visit I went back to collect the redone lenses/glasses and they were wrong again, still couldn't read any print, was all fuzzy. The optical expert and I use this term loosely as they were definitely not said it was because I have a super fancy expensive lense in my previous glasses!!! Seriously 😳 I couldn't read no expensive lense is gonna fix that issue! They offered to send them back a 3rd time and add a fancy lense as they referred to it at a cost of 300 to me! All in it would have cost 820 as I'd already paid 520!! Seriously awful service... I would never recommend this to anyone. It was like I was an inconvenience and no-one really cared...Just another day for these guys. Stay away.
Last 3 years I was happy but this year bad experience. Them suppose to call me and after 3 weeks I was in with them the lent was in but them not call me , the glasses are too strong for me... I toldto them , say give a day next day in again, the Doctor say ok will change again waiting... and the other person is not big change you can used ... sorry is my eye not yours from +0,25 to +1,50 is big difference and I say is too strong for my eye .. am not happy with this very very disappointing.
Firstly I have filled out the form on your website twice and I never got a response.I don't have Facebook or X (Twitter) so please don't suggest that as a method of contact. The fact that you don't have an email address is alarming.I got a pair of glasses in October 23 and returned a few weeks later to be told the arms were "too short" and "should never have been sold to me".The arms were bent for me to help them sit better.They didn't improve.I returned twice and they were bent again each time.I would like the matter resolved.
Specsavers, Nenagh, Co Tipperary, are a great bunch. Always friendly, welcoming and professional to a fault. However, there is one member of staff, in my experience, (twice), who is inflexible and unaccommodating. I brought this to the attention of another member of staff today. Hopefully, it'll be addressed.
Visiting from Australia and needed some assistance from a lovely audiologist on a hearing aid problem. Absolutely wonderful service and help from Specsavers in Eyre Centre and fixed my problem almost immediately. Very happy wife for the rest of my holiday and great service from Specsavers. Tyanis again.
Got the glasses for my daughter at specsavers. When she was wearing them, she got headache + color distortion at contrast objects.During holidays got the second eye test and glasses done somewhere else. Second pair of glasses (not from specsavers!!) is perfect, no headaches no distortions, she is happy to wear them.Went back to specsavers and THEY DO NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR SERVICE AFTER 3-MONTHS OF PURCHASE !Compared two prescriptions and the one from specsavers is way, way off.Paid for the glasses which were done not properly from day 1, have proof that EYE TEST IS INCORRECT, they simply do not take any responsibility for their service. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND.If my daughter was keep wearing those glasses (causing headaches), her defect of vision could get worse very quickly. Health is wealth - simply go to proper optician who will look after You.Best Regards
Why are they up selling everything, they told me that I wasnt entitled to the free test on PRSI TODAY! maybe they remembered me from the last visit( last one was 2020 with them) IN 2020 I had to demand the free test only! they tried to put me in for another test without informing me of that it costs money, I told them I wont be paying for any test that I didnt agree to. They then tried to tell me that my prescription needed special glasses and tried to get me to spend money other than the freebies, If you havent got the guts to stand up to them they will drive the cost up on you. BE VERY AWARE AND STAY AWAY
