Review Time
All of the employees were kind and knowledgeable the wait to get my machine fixed was unacceptable. The company took immediate action when they realized I was upset. They apologized and asked what they could do to help. I appreciated they took time to make things right.
TV not working for over a month, called them before lines to busy or hold for long time than disconnect. Finally got matter resolved today and offered new TV. Told them I already bought new TV as it took them over a month and even my email asking for management did not get answered. Think twice before getting SquareTrade warranty. Better of buying TV from Amazon and get their warranty
Tried to submit a Walmart warranty claim but the website kept making me create a new account password, then would not accept it. Had to get on chat for help. I told the chat rep upfront, I have cancer, I just had surgery, I'm already stressed after 30 minutes of trying to file a warranty claim so please, can you file the claim for me. In a 45 minute chat CS "Noor" -- did not fully read anything I wrote. Did not listen. Did not respond with anything useful. Repeatedly asked for information I had already provided multiple times. Refused to transfer me to a supervisor. In tears, I eventually gave up. Next I called AllState but they make it almost impossible to reach a human. My call was disconnected 3 times before I figured out the correct prompt responses to bypass all the automated menus and reach a human. She was friendly, nice, helpful and we got the claim filed. However I was told my only option was a Walmart gift card. I just want my money back, so I was offered a check but -- of course -- it won't be one check, it will be two checks. One check for the amount that AllState thinks the item is worth today... and a second check for the remainder of the policy amount, but only after they verify I have replaced the item. Incredible. Even without my circumstances… today was so unnecessarily stressful. It shouldn't take two hours to file a $30 warranty claim. Maybe they make it so difficult must be because they don't want you to have the money.I will never purchase an Allstate warranty again if I can help it, and I won't buy anything at Walmart that needs a warranty.
I purchased a 2 year protection plan for a pair of beats solo wireless headphones a year ago, and was asked to provide a receipt which I do not have but they can clearly see by looking up the protection plan and everything is linked up to my email address and have a picture of the serial number on the box that I have and still was told they could not help me without a receipt, which I find very upsetting.
Allstate Protection Plan was worth having as my insurance plan on the purchase. When I reported that the DVD personal player was not working for a second time on their website during business hours I was immediately sent the money for it. The DVD stopped working before the insurance was up.
We purchased an extended warranty on our refrigerator and second year in are having problems. We followed all the ridiculous red tape, including sending videos and this company sent us the parts. Our technician arrived and said that the problem is that we need a new gasket and these are only some of the parts we need. He went back and ordered the gasket and we got an email from All State telling us that the gasket could be installed by us, individually (really????), and that the technician would not be back out. Spoke with the technician and he said that he told them the gasket was an additional part. Do not buy an extended warranty from these people. They will do everything they can not to honor your claim. All State is known for that in the insurance industry.
I bought coverage for a pergola I purchased from Wayfair. I constructed item Thanksgiving weekend of 2024. Item worked well. We stopped using item because of winter, so we could not sit outside anymore. The weekend of April 30th of 2025 I went to open canopy to remove leaves and debris and it would not open. I realized support beams for canopy were broken. Also, canopy was complete stained. I contacted Allstate protection Plans a week later to file a claim. They denied my claim on the grounds that I did not file claim on original date of issue. I filed claim within 30 days of issue which it clearly states in agreement. So, it was a waste and a ripoff of money getting protection when Allstate would not honor coverage.
I bought a rug runner on Amazon and took out their 5 yr warranty plan. It is used in our kitchen and it had got some water that had spilt, under it. It deformed the backing and it now has a hump in the middle of it. The plan covers spills but Allstate denied my claim. They said it was "cosmetic damage." If you are smart don't waste your money on these people. You would have better luck with a claim of tsunami damage in Death Valley.
If I could give less then one star I would. Ive been fighting my claim for almost a month. Longer if you count the time they sent me back to my retailer. My retailer said it wasn't a manufacturing issue and then to file the claim. When I file the claim they say I waited too long. After getting the retailer to fight for me they approved the claim. After almost a month later I'm still waiting. First they tell me they are sending replacement and then reimbursement for the amount I paid for the item. Still waiting for check. I had an additional plain which I canceled - now waiting for refund. When this claim is complete I will be canceling that one also. I will never buy this again. Customer service is also. They don't want to answer my questions and talk to me like I'm a idiot.
