I unsubscribed from Stanleys SPAM email list. Stanley ignored my request and continued to send me unsolicited marketing emails.I logged a complaint through Stanleys 'Help and Support' messaging service and was advised I would receive a response in 3 - 4 business days.Stanley failed to respond to my formal complaint and continued sending me unsolicited marketing emails- 1 every few days for ten months - over 50 in total.I spent a considerable amount of time trying to find a phone number or email address for Stanley in the UK. I eventually found the email address 'info at stanley-pmi dot com' so sent an email to them asking for the matter to be escalated.Edward B responded to my email, however, this was completely ignored what I had asked and only supplied a US phone number. I responded to Edward and he failed to respond to me.I have sent four further chaser emails and submitted another online ticket, all to no avail, and, Stanley are still sending me unsolicited marketing emails! What a disaster.
Here's my experience and the email chain between Stanley customer service and me: On Tue, 3 Oct at 1:34 PM , Jennifer wrote:Hi there - I purchased two of the Pendleton tumblers and the paint on one of them started flaking off after the first use - no damage, just the fun paint (the whole reason I bought it) is coming off and looks bad. I'm really bummed. 688176:1931041Stanley 1913 3:48 PM (2 minutes ago)to meHi Jennifer, Thank you for reaching out. All our products go through rigorous checks including multiple dishwasher cycles and abrasion testing. Chipping, peeling, or fading is a result of wear and tear or accidental damage and is not covered under our manufacturer’s warranty.Regards,Allen S.Consumer Support SpecialistStanleyJennifer 3:50 PM (0 minutes ago)to StanleyHello,Thanks for your response, but this was after one use. The other one is fine. This is defective and I would like a replacement as they are not cheap and should hold up better than that. Thank you,Jennifer
They told me lifetime warranty is for cosmetic damages and for wear and tear of the product especially for everyday life. I got the 40oz quencher... there are dents and scratches all over the cup from going in and out of my cup holder (everyday life) I emailed the company and submitted a claim to get it replaced, apparently I can't now because they don't deal with "damages on the outside of the cup" Waste of my time and money. Don't recommend using it for everyday life. It looks better on a shelf anyways
This company is an absolute fraud. I made an order on 8/30/23 and still have not received it. All I have gotten was excuse after excuse from “jessie” the tracking number that was provided never showed my address. “Jessie” claimed that they shipped me out another order with expedited shipping and they gave me the same damn tracking number. The only way they will actually respond to you is if you call them a fraud on social media which is true. Just avoid this company because it’s crap and you will never receive your stuff.
I was prompted to add my email address to receive a 10% New Customer Discount. I recieved the email with the discount code and logged back onto the site to place my order. After selecting the product I wanted and checking out, I applied my discount code and it was rejected becuase it said nothing in my order qualified for the discount. There were no restrictions or limitations provided when the discount was offered or when it was sent to my email address. So this overpriced travel mug, which I felt pressured/ obligated to buy for my daughter, was even pricier than I expected to pay due to a deceptive business paractice.
I placed an order and only after I had issues with my order I started reading the reviews which were really bad. I placed an order and the track and trace was not giving me the right info, so after 1,5 weeks waiting i send an e-mail, I only got a reply after 2 weeks waiting (I did send 2 other e-mails). Finally I got an answer back, they reshipped my order (with an other carrier) and I got my order less than a week later.
I ordered two 40 oz bottles, received one as a 40 oz and another as a 30 oz. I sent multiple emails, all I got as a response was that their warranty doesn’t cover mishaps like that? This was their mistake, I paid for the price of two 40 oz bottles and they sent me the wrong bottles? As a company that is their issue??? Hopefully I receive my refund if not I’ll be back with more to say.
Stanley1913 (the legit Stanley site) is great, for getting an order...if you get it. My first order - zero problems. The second time, I ordered a custom Stanley Thirst Quencher with my daughter's name. Apparently somewhere in shipping it was stolen, as my ups tracking says empty container, no product. I can not get ahold of Stanley to get a resolution to this issue. Was ordered July 1. I have sent 3 emails, and called twice. I spent 40 minutes on hold, then get hung up on, never having spoken to a rep. At this point, I will just go through my credit card company for a refund. I can't believe a business as thriving as Stanley must be, that they don't have better customer service.
