Dodgy pressuring tactics and misleading on costs... We were told the call out fee would be £69 which we were happy with as it was an emergency. We didn't receive the terms and conditions until the gas engineer arrived at our home, giving us no time to read them fully, and we were told he couldn't start work until we had accepted.It turns out the call out fee is £69 but on top of this they charge a minimum of one hours labour (£195) on top of this as a minimum, plus admin fees (£47). A 20 minute visit cost us just under £400 and they didn't even fix the problem - the gas engineer isolated our boiler and said parts were needed to fix it properly. The gas engineer told us he wasn't allowed to leave our home until we had paid - again pressuring tactics that don't allow you to query anything.The gas engineer was perfectly nice, however the systems put in place by his employers are not and seem to be designed to bully and pressure you in an emergency situation.A horrible company, would not recommend.
Horrendous customer service - put phone down on you, don’t return calls, rude and ignorant Plumber is inexperienced, has no clue what he is doing. The pipes started to leak 1 hour of work completion- came back the following day to ‘fix it’ - created even bigger problem - started to leak in 3 places 1 hour later. In the end had to get professional and experienced plumber from another company to fix this cowboys unsatisfactory work
Called them out as boiler suddenly not working. Quick response on phone and then called to let me know when they were arriving (within 2hrs). Then the plumber called to say that they had heard there were gas works going on nearby. They basically saved me a call out fee and my heating came on shortly after! Very kind of them to call me and save me that money. I would definitely trust these guys again

Scammers, avoid at all cost. Scheduled an engineer for a leak with the boiler which I showed him on arrival. He spent a total of 20mins looking at it then told me there was a leak… (I know, that’s why you’re here!). Charged me £280 including an emergency call out fee even though it was a scheduled appointment. The boiler was in the same state when the engineer left and I have had no information telling me what needs to be done to fix it. Tried emailing them but have had no response. Waste of time and money!
Best experience using this service! Henry was super knowledgeable and he knew exactly what to do, how to fix it. Had materials to use and left the place very tidy. He was honest in his communication and very prompt with completing the work thoroughly
Do not use this company! I was charged over 2K for a 5 hour job that didn't ultimately unblock my overflowing drain. The engineers who visited seemed nice enough but were at pains to point out they were from a different company - Puriflo. They said they had nothing to do with Swift Plumbers and didn't vouch for them. I was also charged a 200 quid admin fee. Waste of time and money and awful to deal with such poor service and standards. Check out other bad reviews that are all consistent. Don't trust the good reviews.
