Review Time
Just came to my house from abroad for a short visit to London . No hot water in the radiators and it was cold . Engineer came and did his inspection and said he needs to change the pump, and not knowing whether he was being honest or not, we said ok . He went away for an hour to get the pump and then he replaced the old one ( which he took away ) and total time he calculated for his work was 3 hours from the time he arrived, just to change the pump ! Still nothing is working ! He then said you may need to change the electric board ( coast 1.8k ) or maybe buy a new boiler (cost about 3 k ) .I said we’ll think about it . He said his work is finished at this point and then sent a report to the company .After few minutes I received bill from them for the sum of £ 1930 (including 3 hours labor plus cost of pump plus administration fees ). They are demanding the huge amount of money for absolutely doing nothing to solve the problem !They demanded payment on the spot but I declined to pay this unexpected and unreasonable amount of money .Now they are threatening to take legal action and involve debt collectors and all sorts of threats if don’t pay up !! What a horrible experience with these scammers! * Deserve 0 stars .
Company that lie. I wanted outside Tap installation. I was told someone can come to do an inspection and if I'm happy with the price they can undertake the work on the same visit. Call out fee is 69£ but they say + VAT so it's 82.80£. I asked how much do you charge and hour and I was told it depends on the work so They hid hourly rate. When the guy came he asked me for an email and then they send an email with cost per hour that is 239£ + VAT that is 2-3x more than other plumbers.During the visit turned out the guy didn't have tools to do the work nor he told me price for the work. Lies and Thieves. Avoid
Absolute scandalous company. I booked them to repair my boiler. Charged me over £500 and wouldn’t leave until I had paid. The problem with my boiler is still happening. Have rang many times and each time I am told they would speak to an engineer and get back to me. Two months later, I’m still waiting. They certainly aren’t swift at returning phone calls and rectifying the problem. Avoid at all costs!
Do not use this company, it is scam.They told me there would be a call out charge of £69.The man was with me for 10 mins and presents me with a £200 bill to disconnected a fridge from the mains which I could have done myself had they told me what was involve. The head office have said I agreed the price before the work and they emailed me it but they never had my email to do this.Avoid at all costs.
