I used to be a loyal Talabat customer, recommending it to everyone I know. But after my recent experience, I can no longer support this brand.I encountered a major issue with Talabat's 50% off offer (up to 30 AED). I selected items from a participating restaurant, and the discount was applied before I proceeded to pay. However, once I completed the payment, I was charged a different, higher amount. Despite the app showing the correct price before payment, the total changed without any explanation.When I tried to contact Talabat, the app had no direct support options, no live chat, and an auto-reply to my email that provided no help. After reaching out on Facebook Messenger, I explained the issue, only to be met with denials and requests for impossible "checkout pictures" proof. Despite offering app logs and explanations, I was ignored.Then, to make matters worse, the order I received was completely wrong. The receipt taped to the package didn’t match the items I ordered. I provided photos and more details, but again, no real response. Hours later, I received a call acknowledging their mistake and promising to send a request for additional pictures to process a refund. They never followed through.Finally, after all the time I wasted trying to resolve this, they sent me 19 AED as compensation for a bill of over 61 AED. It’s about the principle. Offering such a small refund for a completely wrong order is humiliating to a customer. The least they could have done was fully refund the meal. Instead, they turned a loyal advocate into someone determined to share this awful experience with everyone I know.
Very weak customer service, I complained multiple times about the food that the package was open and all my coffee fell on the floor when the delivery guy handed to me and all the food was wet. But no respond from talabat. Customer service 8 thumbs down 👎
I have ordered food through talabat app, once the restaurant handed over food to talabat rider, he started travel to a different location. When i check location of the rider he was going away from me instead of deira, he end up in international city. After sometime i got a call from talabat that they are going to cancel my order, i asked them why the rider gone wrong way, and they replied that they don't know.if you want you can order again. I have been waiting about one hour. And they disconnected the call.
Don’t ever ever use Talabat. They charged me for an order that didn’t go through. 7 working days to get a refund which never happened, escalated and then waiting another 7 days for a refund and still waiting….. don’t ever use them. You cannot contact customer services. The absolute worst company ever 😡😡😡😡😡
