It's one of the worst food delivery…

It's one of the worst food delivery apps I know. It takes ages to get a refund, and there's no follow-up on cases. If you don't receive your delivery, be ready to face a wall, as Talabat doesn't care. They usually make you think they will investigate, but they don't. Avoid this app like the plague.

Talabat Has Started to Seem Fraudulent!On the 18th of September, I placed a food order through Talabat. To my surprise, I was charged twice. When I contacted customer service, I spoke to Khadeeja, who reassured me that my money was "safe" with them. I responded, telling her I never asked for my money to be "safe" with Talabat by being charged twice on my card. She then assured me that I would receive a refund within 5-7 days.Later, I spoke with Mohd Mubin (manager Fikre), who clarified that it would take 5-7 working days. I patiently waited, but when I followed up on the 25th of September, I spoke to Hina, who once again reassured me that my money was "safe" and urged me to wait just one more day for the refund.I decided to open a ticket through the Talabat app. A manager from the finance team reached out, informing me that the refund timeline would only begin on the 22nd of September, when the issue was supposedly "resolved," meaning the countdown had restarted.Honestly, Talabat, is this your new method of making money? Charging my card twice and then forcing me to chase my own refund? Your service is beyond disappointing, and now you’ve stooped to robbery!

Garbage app. Customer service is non existent. No chat app, no phone number, raising a complaint in the app just gives an "oops sonething went wrong". Use any other app rather than this one.

Talabat is the worst ever in UAE I just deleted the app 3 days ago after my bad and unprofessional service I got from them after complaining about their food, I downloaded Noon and is much better with low prices.

Pathetic customer service

Ordered a chicken sandwich from popeyes through Talabat. There wasn’t any extra topping option but I got my sandwich mixed up with Beef which is unacceptable. Upon reporting to Talabat with all the proofs, they refused to help with either refund or a new order. No one would want their food to be provided with some unnecessary filling. Restaurants should be wary of the fact that people come from different backgrounds and mistakes like these affect their sentiments.The restaurant eventually didn’t help me with new order or refund and neither did Talabat (which was my last resort).So all in all i lost faith in these brands that show they are customer centric but when time comes they shrug off the responsibility.

After 1hour 20mins since placing my order and speaking to an operator Ayyaz after 20mins from the time of my order due there was still no delivery. So after a whole 90minutes I called again and they LIED to me twice saying the restaurant was delayed then rider and also rider said he had broken down. This was the SECOND time in one month it happened. these guys are Jokers and Liers,

Ordered 2 cut cake pcs from Cheesecake Factory Yas Mall. The while process took 52 minutes to reach my house which is 5 mins away from Yas Mall. The Cheesecake Factory blamed Talabat and Talabat blamed the restaurant. No one cared to say "sorry ".

From a Promoter to a Detractor

I used to be a loyal Talabat customer, recommending it to everyone I know. But after my recent experience, I can no longer support this brand.I encountered a major issue with Talabat's 50% off offer (up to 30 AED). I selected items from a participating restaurant, and the discount was applied before I proceeded to pay. However, once I completed the payment, I was charged a different, higher amount. Despite the app showing the correct price before payment, the total changed without any explanation.When I tried to contact Talabat, the app had no direct support options, no live chat, and an auto-reply to my email that provided no help. After reaching out on Facebook Messenger, I explained the issue, only to be met with denials and requests for impossible "checkout pictures" proof. Despite offering app logs and explanations, I was ignored.Then, to make matters worse, the order I received was completely wrong. The receipt taped to the package didn’t match the items I ordered. I provided photos and more details, but again, no real response. Hours later, I received a call acknowledging their mistake and promising to send a request for additional pictures to process a refund. They never followed through.Finally, after all the time I wasted trying to resolve this, they sent me 19 AED as compensation for a bill of over 61 AED. It’s about the principle. Offering such a small refund for a completely wrong order is humiliating to a customer. The least they could have done was fully refund the meal. Instead, they turned a loyal advocate into someone determined to share this awful experience with everyone I know.

Terrible service! Even 1 star is too generous, but there’s no other option since you can’t submit a review without a rating. The app is unreliable, deliveries are always late, and the customer support is unhelpful. Drivers often cancel orders or don’t follow instructions, making the whole experience frustrating. Don’t ever use Talabat, especially for grocery deliveries. They consistently fail to deliver on time, and items are often missing. I’ve had to go to Viva supermarket myself to retrieve missed items, paying for taxis back and forth, because their customer service couldn’t provide any delivery support. Delete all your Talabat apps now to reduce your stress! Their poor service and constant delivery issues just aren’t worth it.
